I went with my Iranian friend. We ordered, Kashk Bademjoon, gheyme bademjoon, fesenjoon, and Zoolbia. Kashk bademjoon is like a dip that serves as a starter and it was really nice, it’s a specific taste that you cannot find in other cuisines. Gheyme bademjoon is a beef stew that should be served with rice, but it’s not included and you have to pay for it separately, however the taste was great. Fesenjoon is also a stew which is cooked differently in different regions in Iran, sour, neutral and sweet, this was the sour one. For me this one had a unique flavor, very sour due to the pomegranate paste and a bit heavy due to the walnuts. Again you should order rice separately to accompany the stew. Finally, Zoolbia is a desert which is really nice with tea after your meal. I completely recommend it.

Also at that time, they had a waiter which was a Moroccan Berber. A very nice guy. Going to Esfahan restaurant was the highlight of our...

Tried the moussaka which was very tasty, but probably heated in the microwave since the meal was very hot in some areas and warm in others. Kebabs and sweet rice were amazing, and served with bread. Tea and an assortment of pastries/ ice cream for deserts, really nice. Fast friendly service, good prices. Menu only in Spanish, but photos help and so does Google Translate. Not the first time I’ve tried Iranian cuisine and it won’t be the last, I...
