Favourite restaurant in Madrid!
I eat at Restaurante La Esquina Peruana & Yuzu Sushi almost every day with my work team. The food is always fresh, flavourful, and generously portioned.
The sushi is hands down the best I’ve ever had! The maki rolls are beautifully made and full of taste. I also highly recommend the Mostrito chicken — it’s juicy with perfectly crispy skin, absolutely delicious.
There are some fantastic starters too — the causa de atún y pollo are both packed with flavour and make for a perfect beginning to the meal.
The coffee is freshly brewed and smooth, and for dessert, you’re spoiled for choice: the ice cream is rich and creamy, and both the carrot cake and cheesecake are absolutely lovely.
What really sets this place apart is the team — they’re incredibly kind, helpful, and always full of positive energy. They’re quick to bring menus, take your order, and serve the food, all with a smile. They’ll genuinely brighten your day!
The outdoor seating is another highlight — shaded and comfortable, with beautiful views of the Catedral de Santa María, right next to the Royal Palace.
If you’re in the area or visiting the Royal Palace, this place is an absolute must — it’s just a five-minute walk away. Friendly service, amazing food, and a relaxed atmosphere — you’ll be glad you stopped...

Vino Beronia rioja crianza and cerveza Ensalada con aguacate y salmon ahumado - nice and summery. Tiradito - fish was fresh. Sauce was sweet, sour and slightly spicy. Boiled corn was an interesting texture. 1/4 de pollo - chicken was okay, slightly dry. Chaufa de pescado - Chinese style fried rice. Simple flavours, fish was nicely fried. Espresso and tarta de 3 leches - slice of cake was delicious. Moist and delicate.
Decent Peruvian eats at LEP. Would have liked to try their...
Read moreDelicious food! I had the « causa limeña de atún » (served cold, tuna wrapped in a savoury mashed potato with two cheese sauces drizzled on top) and the ceviche clàsico. The fish was fresh, perfectly served in the classic lime with a slice of sweet potato and white potato, plus two kinds of corn: a crunchy dark corn and the tender large kernel white corn of South America. Beautifully presented, generous portions. I highly recommend. The music was not to my taste but the food more than made...
