Restaurante MARIELA’S — Restaurant in Madrid

I have been here 4 times on the short time I have lived in the neighborhood and it’s been amazing every time. Excellent food, outstanding service and a warm atmosphere.

I have tried two Guisados, one with Lobster and lentillas and the other with carne and both were absolutely perfect. Rich flavorful broths that show great technique and love from the chef. I have also tried the Croquettas and the risotto with truffle and both were 10/10.

The service is really outstanding and needs to be mentioned. I am a foreigner with limited Spanish and they are very patient with me while I ask questions and have been helpful offering recommendations. Also Mariela herself has remembered me every time I have come in and came over to say hello and is just an all around warm and friendly human being.

Fuimos a almorzar en este maravilloso restaurante de cocina tipica mediterranea elegante refinada ubicada en el barrio madrileno dr Salamanca con mesas solo internas y tiene un bonito comedor luminoso en planta baja, una barra amplia y un segundo comedor en la planta superior. La Ubicación del restaurante esta oculta muy apartada y la gente pasando afuera del local no se da cuenta del bonito que es este restaurante. Al inicio nos dieron cono honenaje a 2 aperitivos y como entrantes croquetas cremosas de jamon de pura bellota y una ensaladilla con mango avocado langostinos tomates. Como segundos ceviche y un solomillo de vaca nacional.. Al final como dessert pina y un chocolate fluido con nueces garrapinadas. La calidad de los platos excelente abundante sabroso delizioso. Personal bien vestido acogedor sonriente muy profesional competente cordial y disponible y el servicio atento rapido y caro.

We found ourselves in this marvelous restaurant with typical Mediterranean cuisine, elegantly refined, located in the Madrid neighborhood of Salamanca with only internal tables and a good bright dining room on the lower floor, a large bar and a second dining room on the upper floor. The location of the restaurant is very hidden and people passing outside the place do not know what goodness this restaurant is. Newish restaurant in Madrid that serves traditional Spanish dishes with a fresh approach but keeping the essence of recipes.
