I had an incredibly disappointing experience at Secrets by Farga in Madrid, Spain. The service was shockingly poor, with staff displaying a complete lack of professionalism and courtesy. The main espresso bar attendant, in particular, was extremely disrespectful, dismissive, and incompetent. From the moment I arrived, I was met with an indifferent attitude and slow service. Despite my attempts to order politely, I was treated with unnecessary rudeness. The staff seemed either poorly trained or simply unwilling to provide even the most basic level of customer care. For a place that presents itself as high-end, the level of service was truly unacceptable. The establishment also appeared disorganized, with orders taking far too long and mistakes being made without any acknowledgment or apology. The lack of efficiency and hospitality left a terrible impression. I would not recommend this place to anyone expecting a pleasant experience. There are many other cafés in Madrid that value their customers and provide attentive service—Secrets by Farga, unfortunately, is not one of them. I REPEAT if your a FOREIGNER, from any country you will be misled here. My reviews are all truthful and honest! Just like this visit.

We had just arrived in Madrid and this was the first place we stopped after checking in our hotel near by. The place looks like it is service fresh healthy food but the truth is that the food is premade and not the fresh picture it sells. We got 3 plates and 2 drinks and it costs us €60. The drinks were watered down with no taste. The Mediterranean salad with watermelon was horrible and the fried rice was really old. Overall I do not recommend this place for the price. Also, the service was not great. The girl working there was very impatient as we don’t speak or understand Spanish and had questions about the menu.

We ordered the 1+2 lunch menu: The first is Salmon al horno + carpaccio de berenjena The second is Pollo corralito braseado “chil” with carpaccio de berenjena and potato salad Both are AMAZINGLY GOOD!! Salmon very well cooked and the veggies are fresh as well. The service is super friendly for non Spanish speakers, shout out to Ivan! Would def recommend to come and we will for sure visit again. It’s a 10/10 🌟

The place has a nice decor and the effort spent on design is worth noticing, but the main thing i.e. food could be a lot better. There are two main things that can be worked on : The quantity of food and ingredient pairing. The quantity of food should be reduced by 20-30% especially salads. The price should be brought down by 20% too. This would make more people go for the dish number two. On the ingredient paring, I know they are trying to ape Honest greens, but they might need to consider hiring a professional salad chef. While it seems easy to sell salads for EUR9.00, good salads need a lot of work. The ingredients keep changing and hence, the dressing you prepare provides the much needed consistency. Today I had their avocado plate, pickled onions, with pico de Gallo. Do you see something off here? The whole dish ended up being sour. Will I come back, no...

Horrible!! The service was awful. So bad, it was comical and we were laughing about it as we sat there waiting, waiting, waiting. The food, not so funny. My chicken was half raw. It looks like it was cooked on only one side. It was covered with sauce, so I didn’t notice until I got towards the center of the thigh. As I chewed I realized it was unmistakably undercooked. I took the plate to the desk to show them, since the waiter never came back to our table. They said they could cook it more. No thank you. Then they offered me free coffee and dessert. Uh, no. They really could not have cared less and obviously don’t have an understanding of the dangers of serving undercooked chicken. I posted a picture of the chicken on TripAdvisor, but I can’t include it here. I’m back at my hotel waiting for...
