Sushiaoi — Restaurant in Madrid

We visited the restaurant to celebrate a birthday, and while the service was exceptional, unfortunately, the food left us quite disappointed.

First and foremost, I want to express our gratitude for the outstanding service. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and prompt. Our plates were cleared quickly, and any questions we had were answered thoroughly. The team truly went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, which we appreciated.

However, when it comes to the food, we encountered several issues. Some orders arrived incorrectly, and a few were missed entirely, but these were minor inconveniences for us. The main concern was the quality of the food itself. For example, I waited over an hour for a dish of fried shrimp, which was understandable due to the busyness of the evening. However, when the dish finally arrived, the shrimp was severely overcooked and covered in a sugary sauce, which seemed to be an attempt to mask the burnt taste. Unfortunately, several other dishes were also either burnt or lacked flavor, falling short of our expectations.

To add to the experience, we noticed a small cockroach near our table just as our food arrived. While we understand that this can happen in any establishment, it was unsettling and affected our enjoyment of the meal. Despite this, the waitress handled the situation quickly and professionally, which we greatly appreciated.

We understand that everyone can have an off night, and we truly appreciate the wonderful service we received. However, due to the quality of the food and the overall experience, we felt it was important to provide honest feedback. We hope this review is taken as constructive criticism, and we wish the restaurant the best in addressing these issues...

Yo amaba sushiaoi iba a comer seguido hace un par de años , y siempre salía contenta . Pero la última vez que fui y hoy no puedo decir lo mismo , me centró en hoy , me arruinaron la cita .

Comida nefasta Calidad/Precio nefasta Atención al cliente nefasta

Llegamos y ya de por si la atención fue horrible , nos pusieron en una mesa atravesada y llena de comida masticada por otros y grasa (se pidió limpiar amablemente y nos miraron tan mal que nos dio pena ) pedí el wifi para poder pedir la comida ya que no llegaba la señal a la parte de atrás , 3 intentos de contraseña y el señor me arrancaba el tlf de la mano como fastidiado . Las veces que nos trajeron comida de otras mesas no caben en la mano , y no solo nosotros , parecía que querían meternos platos no pedidos para comerlos a juro y llenarnos; cada vez que traían un plato lo arrojaban a la mesa , te quitaban los platos metiendo las manos casi que en tu comida , respondiendo mal , viendo a todos mal y molestos. Que no fuimos los únicos ; en cuanto a la comida , no tiene ni una pizca de calidad como cuando abrieron , hasta Running sushi es mejor , realmente no sé si llamar sushi eso , algunos pescados sabían guardados y no frescos , crustáceos llenos de arena y sucios , carne aguada en salsa (dudosa ) , “tempura” de verduras ( de solo zanahoria y no era tempura pues había más zanahoria aguada y bañada en aceite y masa frita rota en el plato) , los rollitos de verdura sabían a aceite viejo ;hablemos de los rollitos de “sushi” de menos de una centímetro de grosor , o los que tenían sabor viejo que la alga nori estaba aguada o el aguacate oxidado , o hablemos del roll de atún y no es atún fresco , es atún de lata viejo . Vasos sucios y soja diluida en agua . Y cuanto fue la gracia ? 43 euros , los 43 euros más desperdiciados de mi vida . Y a qué viene todo esto ? Pues porque ya el marketing funcionó , ya dan mierda de “comida” porque ya captaron atención , ya no necesitan dar buena comida o si quiera decente . Jamás volveré, me arruinaron la salida . Horrible lugar , no vayan si no quieren...

Mal Trato hasta gritar para solo pedir la cuenta. We were there 55 min and they said time is up. We said ok no problem please bring us the bill and cancel the last order. One person had little food 1 round, 2nd person 2 rounds, and 3rd tried for the 3rd round but canceled. The owner came out and started lying and yelling that we are trying to stay more time. They don’t listen to basic words and are so rude. Quality of food so so. Ordering is cool. But the owner was ridiculous for being so rude and starting a huge fight with all the staff. He even came out to yell in the street after we left. Avoid at all costs if you want...
