The decor is odd, but the place is filled with locals so it has to be reasonable, although having tasted their authentic tapas I was disappointed. I've have better in North London, but their house brand wine was delicious and defo worth a try. My personal experience of this place was that our wine bottle was cleared away with the empties whilst we were not looking, even though it was half full and had been pre paid as it was part of a tour we were on. The barman had literally put it "behind the bar", probably so the staff could drink it later - maybe a normal perk or a way to get us to buy more drinks. Thought that was a bit sneaky so I asked for it back, which didn't seem to go down too well with the bar man (judging by the look on his face!).

Given another comment I've seen about staff being a bit cagey with the menu, I'd be tempted to say that tourists get a less than honest deal at this place. A local guide has advised La Latina (hope that's right) District is the best for tapas so probably worth heading down that...

LOCATION & ATMOSPHERE In the city center, amazing atmosphere, focused on the people, loud, busy but I like this kind of restaurants.

SERVICE You can see they care about the guests + they speak english which is a rarity. Friendly and professional.

PRICE I would say cheap prices for the amount and quality you get. Lentil stew that I ordered was 12€ and I could fill up 4 plates. Meat plate for 46€ is easily for 3-4 people. Slice of tortilla de patata for 4.50€ is a banger.

FOOD Very good quality, delicious, meat is still frying when they serve, everything was good.

OVERALL After my 3rd time in Madrid, this could easily become my favorite place to eat. Really, I recommend it, go and try, you will...

I’ve been there 2 times Ones service was really good. Waitress was nice and kind. Second time order was not ready more than 40 minutes , I observed that every customer was treated with welcome plate, but unfortunately not for us, I don’t know why, but waiter not even put, a throw salad on a table, with salad was not provided vinegar as day before, waiter was always “busy” with something else , and after asking they said still wait for 15 minutes more . After refusing to take that order , they push to pay full price for refused order . Probably depends from shift , but makes me fully unsatisfied. First impression was good, second one absolutely opposite . Waiter was even rude in some moments of...

Hands down the best place we are in Madrid! I have so many food intolerances and they had a full allergy list which made it so easy to choose my meal. The have gluten and dairy free options which I had and they were absolutely amazing! Zero reaction so I felt so safe that we went back there a second night to eat there again. The staff are wonderful and so friendly and accommodating. The waitress who served us on the 1st night recognized us when we came back and sent over the allergy menu with her colleague. Great atmosphere and lovely deco. Very relaxed and comfortable. Definitely worth a try and if we come back to Madrid we would love to go back there.

This is a very fun spot to have dinner in Madrid. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. The staff was so fun and very kind. It was our last night in Madrid and they sent us off with free shots and a bottle of wine. ❤️ The food was perfectly made typical Spanish style food with some extras you don’t usually see. We had the broken eggs (fried eggs over potatoes with ham), the pedron peppers, and the massive mixed carne grill (it’s enough for like 4 people jfyi) everything was absolutely delicious. We also had gin & tonics with the BIGGEST Gin pour I’ve ever had! Thanks for making our last day so memorable!! RING THE BELL!!!! 🔔
