Tempo Club — Restaurant in Madrid

This bar, lounge and club was a surprising gem to find. Seeing the poster outside with different performances for the month caught my attention, especially when Jazz was mentioned. As a jazz lover I got interested immediately. I went instead for the Jamiroquai songs performance, also a huge fan of the said band. First went to the bar as the club (at basement) level wasnt opened yet. The musíc at the bar was appealing as well, with soulful, jazzy beats, the sound was great and the ambiance was also ok. They serve cocktails, beer and customised drinks of requested. The bar also has tall bar tables and stools in the front area and sitting tables towards the back, making suitable to accommodate different kinds of groups. Bar finger food and tapas version is also served like croquettes, stuffed olives etc. As well as pizza. I went with the croquettes and olives, which I didn't find especially tasty, the drinks either. The service at the bar was ok. I ordered one sangria, but it never came. Later on was being charged. The basement club is small but very cosy for small performances. The acoustic and sound was very good for a place of this size. The band performing Jamiroquai songs was formed by 4 members. The lead singer was sassy, sexy, funny and with an incredible vocal range. She sure made the songs stand out and unique. The club bar service was much better, by a young woman. Theres also a cloak room outside the club where you can leave your coat for 1€ (yes only 1€). La Vinoteca de Tempo se encuentra muy cerca del comienzo de la calle princesa, concretamente en la calle Duque de Osuña 8, esquina con Plaza de Cristino Martos, s/n, Su terraza climatizada, abierta toda el año, cuenta con excelentes vistas al edificio de Plaza de España con un ambiente tranquilo y relajado, apartado del bullicio. Lo novedoso de la Vinoteca Tempo es que puedes degustar cocina innovadora en miniatura, osea para que nos entendamos, tapas creativas maridadas con vinos de autor 100% españoles. Cuentan con gran cantidad de referencias vinícolas de varias zonas de todo el territorio como Madrid, Toro, Priorato, Castilla, Yecla, Utiel Requena, Jerez...

El local es pequeño pero confortable para charlar con amigos mientras disfrutas de la buena comida con buen vino de alta expresión. Lo que significa que tienen a tu alcance cocina original con estos vinos cuyas bodegas quieren demostrar su máxima capacidad a la hora de elaborar buenos vinos. En cuanto a la relación calidad precio está muy ajustado y parece razonable.

Una buena ocasión para disfrutar de la Vinoteca Tempo es a la hora del brunch (entre el desayuno y almuerzo del domingo) cada vez hay más asiduos a este tipo de menú y comida relajada con amigos en la que la que se reúnen y disfrutan de la cocina creativa en miniatura.

No te aburrirás con su carta, es original y creativa como los ravioli de chipirones en su tinta, el sashimi de pez limón con trufa, la pizza de carne picada con rúcula y para los forofos de las hamburguesas incluida una servidora, unas mini hamburguesas de presa ibérica.

Que no te asuste no conocer de vinos porque Vinoteca Tempo cuenta con cursillos de maridajes y menús degustación.

Después un buen digestivo y seguir disfrutando de la noche madrileña pues no hace falta irse muy lejos ya que en el local de al lado el Club de Tempo tienes música en directo y cócteles...

One of my absolute places to go out in Madrid! Almost every day of the week there is live music or an event happening in the basement. Anything ranging from Jazz to Ska, Electronic to African Beats, Tempo Club makes you move. The upstairs is a spacious, relaxed, and romantic atmosphere.
