Viena Capellanes — Restaurant in Madrid

A couple of weeks ago, I asked if small dogs were allowed, and I was told that dogs were not permitted inside. I completely understood and respected this policy. However, later that evening, I passed the restaurant on my way home and noticed a customer inside with a small chihuahua by the window with a party of 3.

I have no issue with there being a policy in place regarding pets, but I do believe it should be applied consistently to everyone. It was a bit disappointing to see the rule enforced differently. Ordered chicken curry sandwich and it was a piece of brown sandwich bread, no condiments and maybe 1 ounce of Chicken. No flavor. I don’t know what the curry part of the sandwich was, possibly language misinterpretation on my part. The staff were super friendly. The food was tasteless. Good selection of gluten free options, which is why I stopped by. Just dislike that I was straight up gaslight but over a muffin. Asked for carrot, was given chocolate chip and was told it was carrot. After showing the waiter the chocolate chips and zero carrot, she couldn’t admit it was CC rather than carrot.

Wild.
