Super disappointed with this place. Was recommended by someone to come here as the steak was supposed to be really good, but in the end the whole experience was pretty kaka… It looks like a cool spot but unfortunately they don’t seem to have any kind of common sense on the hospitality industry and they seem to think it’s normal to serve chicken raw, plus it seems like they have no interest in making customers that they could’ve potentially poisoned feel valued in any way, shape or form. For starters, we walked in as a couple and they sat us between 2 parties of people; a group of women who were clearly having a catch up and a group of men who were getting drunk and making a LOT of noise. Logically, if a couple walked into my restaurant, the last place I would sit them is between 2 parties. It felt like they wanted to keep everyone on one side of the room so they didn’t have to clean up as much, which I understand to a degree, but customer satisfaction should be priority and we weren’t given the choice to sit anywhere else in the restaurant. We then sat down and after 10 minutes, had to ask to be moved as we just couldn’t hear each other between the 2 parties. Any other restaurant would’ve taken notice of this and never sat us there in the first place for their convenience. The manager wasn’t even there on a Thursday night (which is odd for a place that is serving alcohol until midnight) and the supervisor (who I guess was managing that night) was not willing to offer anything other than taking the uncooked meal off the bill and asking the chef to cook another one. Who wants to eat from a kitchen that serves raw meat??? Not only that, but the chicken was probably the worst quality thigh meat I’d ever seen. So chewy and full of that gristly stuff that holds the muscles together, badly prepared and hardly cooked, so not really fit for human consumption 🤮 I don’t write many reviews and I know things happen sometimes, but the least they could’ve done is offer to knock the drinks off too as a good will gesture. We were happy to pay for the other meal as that seemed to be ok (not the best steak in Marbella but not terrible) but it would’ve been nice if they had at least taken the 1 beer off that was bought with the chicken as an apology for such poor food! As frequent visitors of Marbella, we defo won’t be going back here again. If I could give it 0...
Read moreThey serve raw chicken here as part of the "Grilled Chicked Skewer" and the supervisor didn't seem to care when I complained!!! I wouldn't recommend coming to this restaurant for steak either as there is a far better steakhouse nearby which we ate at the night before. The staff were more helpful and kind the atmosphere was better. Upon receiving my grilled chickem skewer I instantly noticed the chickens texture seemed off (the lighting in the restaurant was very dim so i couldnt see the chicken but the texture in my mouth told me it wasn't right so I complained about the raw chicken and was told "it's meant to be like that as its a kebab"!!! It was only after I got my phone out and put the torch on and I showed the supervisor my raw chicken that she said she would show it to the chef. I complained saying how unhappy I was and the supervisor was very unhelpful and unfriendly. She didn't seem to care. I explained that I would be flying the following day and I'm worried I'm going to get sick from eating raw chicken and all she did was offer me another beer!
I was out for a quiet meal with my fiancé and after the meal I had to go to the bathroom to make myself sick.
I strongly recommend avoiding this place as there is much better restaurants...
Read moreNice place. Normally I avoid "cool" fancy looking places because usually they focus on decoration and music and they fail at everything else, but this one was really an exception. The food was not only original but also delicious, the staff was not only friendly but also fast and efficient, best staff in Marbella in my experience. The chairs are not only cool and beautiful, but also very comfortable. And in this type of restaurant it was not overpriced at all, which was another surprise. As room for improvement I would mention the sound, which is just "good" when it could be "great". In my opinion the music is better than any other restaurant around the area, althought "music" is subjective of course. But "sound" is not (sorry, I'm a sound engineer and "cada loco con su tema" as they say here ...). Mids and trebbles are perfect with no distortions, but this place has great acoustics and really deserves a proper subwoofer. It is not about having more volume , quite the opposite. Adding a decent sub will let you reduce the overall volume for a more comfortable experience while also providing a more enjoyable sound. In summary, this place is a great addition to the paseo marítimo and I'm looking forward...
