A Hidden Gem in Mogan – Restaurante Mi Vida
If you’re anywhere near Mogan and looking for a truly special dining experience, Restaurante Mi Vida is an absolute must. Tucked along the harbor, this place combines unforgettable food with a one-of-a-kind atmosphere that feels like stepping into someone’s joyful dream.
The al fresco dining area is something else—playfully artistic yet totally inviting. The ceiling, covered in faux grass and delicate flowers lit by soft, indirect lighting, sets a magical tone. Everywhere you look there’s creative artwork, from whimsical pieces to unexpected characters (like a flamenco dancer with a mustache). It’s quirky in the best possible way—stylish, warm, and full of personality.
As for the food? Outstanding. Every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. The staff gave excellent recommendations and clearly cared about making our experience special. They were also absolutely amazing with our 6-year-old, going out of their way to make sure he had everything he needed—nothing was too much to ask.
We ended up having some lovely little chats with the team and left feeling genuinely cared for. Mi Vida isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a place where you’re welcomed like an old friend and treated to something truly memorable.
Don’t miss it. Trust me, your heart—and your taste...
Read moreArriving at Mi Vida is a joy, a warm welcome every time. Me and my friend decided to have our 2nd Christmas day at Mi Vida, simply because you know that you will have a nice time with Excellent food and service.
We started with a very surprising and so delicious Carrot Cream Soup. What I love about the menu of Mi Vida is that you know what ingredients you will get, but how it will be served is always a delightful surprise. Better to keep your mind and all of your senses open, so that not only the food but also the music, the ambiance, and the view of the restaurant can take you away and you get to enjoy a nice time out.
This is what is going for lunch and diner is all about. Mi Vida stands out because they are doing things differently. Not your average restaurant, and this is also not their intention.
When you come with an open heart and mind, sit back and relax, you will leave feeling satisfied and Wow for the experience.
Let it be an experience.
Thank you Team Mi Vida, for another wonderful experience and Christmas Celebration

Read moreLimp retort! To my review yesterday. “Use criticism positively to improve”. The Angus fillet when arrived was sitting on a liquid. When I asked did any potatoes come with the dish, the host replied that that liquid was potatoe purée. I never asked for fries! To clarify on the other food served to my family. The Cannelloni when served to my wife looked like a “Wrap” like sandwich that had been prepared in a Spar Deli. The Lamb mince was overcooked and flavourless! There was nothing else on the plate except the long tube of pasta! No Salad or Condiments. My daughter’s dish, the Pork knuckle had the texture of a meat that had been overboiled and thus had removed any flavour from the meat. Again no Side or Garnish! We have enjoyed over 20 years of great meals in Puerto de Mogan and booked your restaurant for our last night there as it was recommended by our apartment owner. Perhaps take my findings as an opportunity to pull up your socks, take my points on the chin and convey them to your kitchen! “Use criticism...
