save yourself the trouble and don't eat here. ever. went to this restaurant for a birthday dinner thinking i could get a good gluten free pasta meal for my dinner (i am gluten intolerant but i still love italian food). i ordered the duck ragu with white wine sauce and gluten free pasta. what i got was chinese rice noodle with some sort of cream (no taste of white wine at all) and some chunks of chopped up meat. i am not even sure if it was duck. the pasta also came with 2-3 half sliced cherry tomatoes and 3 large pieces of bread containing gluten - in a gluten free pasta meal. i asked the waitress if the pasta was made of chinese noodles, she adamantly said they had italian chefs in the kitchen. i went to the loo and peeked into the kitchen area only to find chinese and non-italian chefs cooking. the worst was the caprese salad. my boyfriend and i were horrified to see that the caprese salad came with iceberg lettuce as base, sliced cherry tomatoes and non-buffalo milk mozzarella. And the worst part is that it had some dried basil sprinkled on top off it instead of fresh basil leafs. To top it off it was accompanied with 2 tiny single use plastic bottles of non-descriptive olive oil and balsamic vinegar and packeted salt and vinegar. What a blasphemy to Italian cuisine!
The worst dining experience, that too on my birthday night. i have no problem with eating chinese food, in fact i grew up with chinese food in malaysia, but this is just bad marketing and a horrible kitchen staff bringing italian experience with chinese ingredients and way of cooking. please don't market yourself as italian restaurant and give a bad name to italian food. if you were to market yourself as a chinese restaurant and cooked chinese food, i bet you would be...

We were seated promptly but then made to wait around 20 minutes before we could order food or drinks. We did try to seek the attention of the tall curly haired male waiter, but instead of serving us, he gestured with his hand that we should wait, and continued to perform laps of the restaurant and seemed totally preoccupied with keeping his hands behind his back and watching diners, rather than performing useful tasks. The other female waitress gave us a similar gesture, and we were on the point of leaving when a third waitress said she would come and take our order (but she actually then proceeded to go inside the restaurant and perform some other duties… in hindsight we should have taken that as a cue to leave).
When the food did eventually arrive, the lasagna was completely burnt on top, and we had to scrape off the top layer in order to make it edible (it was actually quite good underneath). The calzone was also actually very good, however they chose to cover it with a cold arribiata sauce, which didn't really work well with hot calzone.
It appeared to us that restaurant was perhaps being run by a stand in chef, as the food could have been a reasonable standard, but was let down by...
Read moreAVOID SEE PICTURES* wish id read all the other horror stories before stopping here. Asked for Bruschetta on faccacia, got served a dry pizza base with chopped tomatoes. Sent it back, still tried to charge me, told me i couldn't afford my bill, that's why i wanted it taken off the bill.
Wife order vegetarian pizza, it came with cauliflower and carrots on it yes that veg but the most unusual topping ive ever seen, coincidently my steak came with the exact same veg. Must be all they can afford from their dwindling customer base.
My steak was no more than a 5oz piece of serlion, got charged for a fillet. The kids had margarita pizzas, more crust than topping, wish id took a photo of them so we could all laugh together.
When the bill came we notcied we'd been charged for extra toppings. Waiter couldn't believe we'd query it. After trying to convince me we'd had extra topping on a cheese pizza and a pizza with carrot and cauliflower he reluctantly removed them after stating once mote that i was unable to afford my bill. Just so the owner knows, id paid for an evening meal in advance at the 5* Raddison blue but opted to take a walk and have a meal out, so this meal actually cost...
