We ordered a margarita pizza and asked for some extra buffalo mozzarella. The food was great, nice fresh dough and good sauce. However the owner served us and his manner was very rude and off-putting when it came to the bill. He wanted to charge us 6 euro extra for the cheese despite the fact the menu has extra meat for 2 euro and extra fish for 2 euro. When we challenged this he got very defensive about it. He agreed to charge 5 extra but muttered offensively under his breath which he thought we wouldn't understand. Just really poor service. If a customer asks for something different/extra make sure you are transparent about the pricing so they can make an informed decision beforehand and not have any nasty surprises when the bill comes. Nice little Italian restaurant nr the port in Purto De Mogan. All the usual Italian dishes, my partner chose a buffalo mozzarella, cherry tomatoe & basil pizza but said that it was very disappointing very bland & boring. All they'd done was cover the base with the usual tomatoe paste, added a few raw cherry tomatoes, place a full mozzarella ball in the middle and covered it with far too many basil leaves. He said that it was the most uninspiring pizza he's ever had. Our starters were also disappointing, I had the Caprese salad (beef tomatoe with mozzarella cheese) and he had garlic mushrooms. We arrived on this restaurant because our intial first few restaurant choices were not available. We are just so glad we did. All the dishes sounded really interesting so we ordered a couple of startes and about 7 mains for just 5 of us to share as we wanted to try them all. They were all soooo amazing and tasty and they made me realise i will probably never be able to cook the pasta as well as that! All the pasta is homemade by them and they only use products imported from Italy. At the end we were all so full but so extremely pleased. And the customer service was really great too.
