We had a bad experience at this restaurant, though not because of the food. We visited on a Monday night and it didn't seem too busy, with only a couple of other tables taken. We ordered a garlic bread starter, lamb chops, pork fillet steak, and pasta bolgnese for our two boys (6 and 3). After a 40 minute wait and no food we asked how long they thought it might be, and we're told that the lamb takes a long time to cook. We asked about the garlic bread starter and we're told 'Oh, I'm sorry, that'll be about 5 mins'. After another ten minutes they hadn't even started making the starter yet, and at after about an hour we saw a table that arrived half an hour after us served a couple of pizzas. It seems the restaurant was only bothered about making, and we saw quite a few of these being made for delivery. We paid for our drinks and left for another restaurant after the that with no sign of any food at all. Waiting so long with hungry and restless small children, and the uncaring attitude of the staff, was too much. As we left we walked past the kitchen, and they weren't cooking the lamb, pork, or pasta. If you order pizza you might have a good experience (they did look good). Order anything else, or value customer experience and not being lied to, and I wouldn't...
Read moreI recently ordered three pizzas from this pizzeria: a Margherita, a Pepperoni, and a Mare. From the moment I grabbed the boxes, the amazing aroma hit me, setting the stage for a delicious meal.
The pizzas have a perfect thin crust and offer a unique flavor profile that feels like a blend between Italian and Spanish-style pizzas. The Pepperoni pizza had an interesting twist; the pepperoni was more like chorizo than the traditional version, but it tasted great and added a nice, spicy kick. The Mare pizza, topped with mussels, oysters, shrimp, and squid, featured seafood that tasted incredibly fresh.
The prices are also fantastic for the quality you get. I will definitely be ordering from here again and highly recommend giving this place a try! Just a note: the crust can get a bit chewy if it cools down, so be sure to enjoy it...
Read moreWe reserved a table for 30 for a special event and couldn’t be happier with the way the dinner turned out! Not only was the staff incredibly helpful, kind, and welcoming, they made it very easy to plan and coordinate the event. The food delicious and there was a variety to choose from for all types of tastes and dietary restrictions, from gluten-free vegetarian pasta, to paella, to pizza.
The restaurant is also located near Playa Inglés, so it’s a quick walk. If you’re in the south of Gran Canaria planning to be in the area, I highly recommend making a stop (or two or three)...
