Restaurante Sol & Luna is a Culinary Gem with Exceptional Tapas and Service.
If you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience in a prime location, Restaurante Sol & Luna is an absolute must-visit. Nestled in a vibrant yet charming area, this restaurant offers not only a fantastic atmosphere but also some of the most delicious tapas I’ve ever had the pleasure of tasting.
A Tapas Lover’s Dream, From the moment the first dish arrived, it was clear that Sol & Luna takes its cuisine seriously. The tapas selection was fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. Standouts included: Patatas Bravas, Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, with a perfectly spiced brava sauce. Gambas al Ajillo, Succulent shrimp bathed in garlic-infused olive oil, bursting with flavour. Croquetas de Jamón, Creamy, rich, and packed with savory Iberian ham. Pulpo a la Gallega, Tender octopus with smoky paprika and a perfect touch of sea salt.
Each dish was a testament to the chef’s skill and attention to detail. The ingredients were clearly high-quality, and the flavours were balanced to perfection.
Impeccable Service What truly elevated the experience was the exceptional service. The staff were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, offering excellent recommendations for both food and wine pairings. They made sure every need was met without being intrusive, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Prime Location & Ambiance Located in a bustling yet picturesque area, Sol & Luna boasts a chic and inviting ambiance. Whether you choose to sit inside, where the décor blends modern and rustic charm, or outside on their charming terrace, the setting is perfect for romantic dinners, group gatherings, or casual drinks with friends.
Final Verdict: Restaurante Sol & Luna delivers on every level, outstanding tapas, top-notch service, and a prime location that makes it a standout dining destination. Whether you're a local or a visitor, this restaurant is well worth a visit (or several!).

Read moreWe visited this restaurant on the 26th November, after a day of exploring the island. We were a party of four sisters and one niece. We had the best evening of the entire trip. Not only was the food and dessert superb but the atmosphere was what really what made it a fabulous evening. Nafiz our waiter was attentive and funny, sharing his stories along with the owner, Fernandez. The meat was halal, which meant some of our party ordered the sirloin steak. Beautifully cooked and finished off at the table on a hot plate. The tuna tarter to share was a generous portion, deliciously fresh and zesty. The creamy rice with cheese and vegetables is also a very generous portion, which is definitely one to share. The desserts were homemade and we went with Nafiz's suggestions, choosing three to share. They were the creme brulee with star anise, passion fruit cheesecake and cheesecake. They were all divine. We really enjoyed speaking with Nafiz, he made us laugh and left a great impression of the restaurant. If and when we return to the island, we will definitely make a visit to the restaurant again. Thank you team Sol and Luna,...

Like most restaurants, if you're only ordering drinks - you'll likely get a seat in the back or far end (since we mentioned only drinks at the start, we were seated at the back). Honestly, no issues for me where I'm seated at night in the marina since there's nothing to see :)
The Tenerife white wine was recommended & it was quite lovely - fruity on the nose, dry in taste. Also had the rioja from the mainland which came a little chilled (slightly strange), but tasted just fine.
The goats cheese wasn't what we were expecting - it was a block of cheese with a honey crust, lettuce/tomato/honey mustard on the bottom, & a thin breadstick on top - but we both really enjoyed it (we love goats cheese though!).
Bill was ~€24 for all of the above. And service was cheerful & fast.
Seems that reviews are very hot & cold on this place - we went when it wasn't crowded (the restaurant was ~70% filled) so maybe that made...
