Cochran's Terrace — Restaurant in Nerja

I bad lunch on your Terrace yesterday. I chose the Chicken Cordon Bleu as I was really hungry. I immediately noticed the pink colour inside the parcel and assumed, wrongly, that tat was the ham part inside. I ate about one third before I investigated further, only to discover on opening it up that the chicken was 99% raw. The pleasant waiter apologised and took it away. I was surprised to see it on our bill, but the waiter deducted it then without further ado. Just to let you know and for other patrons to be wary, I am as sick as a parrot today. Went to a pre wedding drinks evening, what a total shambles. The greed of the owners was clear and obvious. Instead of our 70 people on the terrace we was joined by another party with a red tape separating us like cattle. They wasn't ready for the drinks party as they still had paying public drinking at the bar.The tapas consisted of Onion rings, Potato balls, Ham, Cheese and some shop bought tortilla. The staff could not have been more rude if they tried. Miserable, sour faces that should not be in hospitality. The owner was as helpful as a chocolate fire guard. All this wonderful experience for one hour of drinks and some bang average food at €1200. Just because this place has a good location doesn't mean it's worth wasting your money for any...

This is a review I hate leaving. If you look at my other reviews, you will know I'm not one to leave a bad review. This bar and restaurant have the most stunning views of Nerja. The staff on the bar are some of the rudest, most short tempered and impatient I've ever encountered. If you moved a chair or table, the looks you got could turn milk sour. Service is very slow no matter how many staff members are working. They are stern faced and extremely rude. They have no time for children.

We had breakfast here as part of our stay, which was lovely, great choice, and friendly staff. Great selection of food and drinks with a nice coffee machine.
