Unfortunately our dinner here ended very badly. At first I found the restaurant nice and cozy. However, one of my friends did not get her food. We gave the staff the grace to wait 5 minutes, and when the pasta didn't arrive I had to go up to the counter to alert the staff. Instead of apologizing and offering an alternative, two waiters simply stood next to our table arguing in Spanish. It felt very oppressive and extremely rude. They then went back to the kitchen where we could see them all arguing, then the waitress came over and simply said "the kitchen is closed" and looked at us blankly. As a customer it was so rude that I started asking for the manager saying it was not acceptable, because my friend hadn't eaten. When the manager came it made everything worse, he claimed it was our fault as the waitress who took our order repeated it to us. This did not happen and we were completely unaware that the kitchen was not making our pasta. He then brought out the waitress who took our order, who had the audacity to lie and say she repeated the order. Again we said no, we all ordered together. It was very frustrating and humiliating as a customer to be argued over such a simple mistake made by the staff. Still no alternative was offered, she continued trying to figure out who was to blame in a mix of English with us and Spanish with the staff. In the end we had to make our own decision and said we would not pay for the starters. They suddenly chirped up, probably glad that we weren't refusing to pay the full bill and that we were trying to leave in a good mood despite their utter incompetence. They took our payment and we left, completely horrified that the customer service was so poor. All we needed was a sincere apology, an alternative and some money off our bill for the inconvenience and we would have been more than happy. They only apologized to us as we were leaving, which I thought was pathetic and too little too late. So unprofessional as s team, bad service, it shocked us. We could have paid less, but it wasn't about getting a cheap meal, it was about getting a...

The pizza and pasta were good, but that's about it and I doubt I will return. They are very off-putting right from the start by saying on the menu that all persons in the part must order 1 "plato principal." I've never seen this on a restaurant menu in Spain. The pizza is enough for 2 people to share. So we were 4 people and we got 2 pizzas, 1 pasta, and 1 order of garlic bread. They didn't say anything to us but I was wondering if they would consider our order "insufficient" for 4 people. Anyway, my biggest complaint is the attitude and judgment we got from two staff members when asking for a glass of tap water (we even ordered "real" drinks, too! beer and iced tea). The first person was weird about it and said they would "need to ask the boss." Begrudgingly, we did get 1 glass but were made to feel that we were asking for the moon and stars. The 2nd person completely refused to bring a 2nd glass of water when my friend wanted one. I pointed out to him that it is the LAW in Spain that restaurants and bars must provide free tap water when asked. He tried to say it was only in bars. LOOK IT UP! It's the LAW. It is just completely ridiculous the judgment we got at this place (and also sometimes other places in Spain). It's not like we aren't ordering other items!! Are you really hurting for money so badly that you need to try and sell bottled...

Such rude and aggressive management! We arrived there was many free tables )half the Resturant empty) the manager seems she’s on drugs and has no manners speaking to customers. Wouldn’t seat us at a table for 2 as we were 2 adults with a baby (normally this is what restaurant seat you at) then refused to sit us at a table for 4 as we were 3 including baby. However they didn’t have any tables for 3 people. In the end the other staff were apologising for her rude behaviour as it’s obvious she has this problem. They have no respect or know how to handle politely. Funny enough we went to a restaurant across the road who were much more polite and sat us a table for 2 and the couple we spoke to next to us said they had the exact same experience. So we were not...

Amazing location, with a lovely outside terrace overlooking the Balcon de Europa. Despite the area and restaurant being very busy, we were quickly seated at a table giving very good views. The service was pretty good and the food was excellent. I had the crab ravioli in the cherry tomato sauce with prawns, which was delicious. Rest of family had pizzas, which were also good. We were happy to pay the slightly higher prices associated with dining right in the middle of the main tourist area. 4 drinks, plus a bottle of Rioja and the 4 meals came to 90 Euros. There may be more authentic and cheaper places out there, with even better food, but I recommend this place for the reasons given above.

Honestly we don’t understand why the bad reviews. Maybe people were unlucky or are very picky. We had a dinner for 3, risotto, linguini and ravioli. Not saying it’s the best ever but we have had much much worse paying a lot more in many other Italians around Spain. It’s more than decent food, pasta was al dente, flavourful. Pino Grigio a little watery but good nonetheless. Service was good, staff was polite and nice, food came quickly. The view is incredible… Would have put 4 stars but felt like I needed to put 5 to compensate for the unjustifiably low other reviews
