TOURIST SCAM! Stay away from this place if you are a tourist!

I specifically told the server that I want a small portion, because I am not very hungry. I even asked about the difference between the small size and the big size to make sure, he described the sizes with his hands. I ordered the small one, and empathized the small size multiple times. He seemed to understand it.

Turns out he brought the big size, which I thought maybe it's actually how their small size looked like. But then on the bill he charged me for the big portion. I complained I didn't order the big one, but the small one. But the only answer I got was "sorry". Suddenly he was making gestures like he didn't understand English well. I highly doubt if this was an honest "mistake", after our multiple mentions of a "small" portion, and his description of small and big sizes. It hurts since I went there mainly because it was recommended by a local.

The food's taste and quality reminded me of cheap canteen food, like frozen or store-bought ones. Even if they charged me correctly I wouldn't go again, at least not for good food.

Hands down one of the best restaurants I've been to in recent times. Walked in around 1.30 and waited about 10-15 mins for a table - definitely worth the wait. I'm guessing this is a family owned restaurant with quirky and stylish decor and quick service. The tapas was utterly delectable. The menu has some variations of tapas that you can order that go very well together. I tried two variations and both of them tasted amazing. It felt like I was eating a meal cooked with a lot of love and care. Service is quick and the staff are very warm and welcoming. Must try if you visit Palma. Quizás el mejor lugar para degustar el típico variat mallorquín donde los rebozados( calamares, calabacín, merluza, berengena) son lo mejor de su carta sin despreciar el resto de tapas. Hay diferentes composiciones en la carta y también raciones individuales. Los rebozados mencionados realizados al instante tienen un crujiente especial y lo diferencia de otros lugares por su sabor y frescura y nada aceitosos. A mi mi plato favorito son los riñones al Jerez. La rapidez de sus camareros en especial Jandro hacen que la espera sea amena y yo puedo decir que de las pocas veces que acudo y no encuentro mucha gente me da un subidón porque solo deseo sentarme y empezar a pedir cosas. El local está muy bien decorado y el ambiente muy agradable. Justo delante hay un parking municipal que hace que su acceso sea fácil y cómodo. La taberna es un negocio que ha pasado de abuelos padres y ahora lo lleva Miquel el hijo, muy responsable que ha sabido desarrollar todas las enseñanzas que su progenitora le inculcó. Mas de 60 años de tradición familiar. He realizado la ruta de variats por toda Mallorca visitando los principales lugares recomendados , por polígonos, por pueblos, los mas famosos y a todos les falta algo, nunca son completos y muchos ni merecen estar en la lista. Bodeguita de las ramblas es uno de mis favoritos pues la comida siempre tiene el mismo sabor aunque pasen los años.
