Buco Burger — Restaurant in Palma

I’ve been wanting to try this place for awhile and I have to say it’s pretty average. That being said, the food is decent; a little above average, I’d say. But the real let down is the service. We had to order our drinks multiple times, the mains came before the appetizer, and the vegetarian of the group received meat on her nachos even though she made it clear no meat. Mistakes do happen but when she brought it to the attention of the waiter, he basically said he didn’t hear her and it is what it is. The first round of drinks went pretty quickly and ordered a second but they never came. We finally just asked for the check and it took awhile to get. Then we asked to pay with card and it took 10-20 minutes for them to return. I can understand if it was super busy but the waiters were just setting around talking to each other. What a bloody top notch burger restaurant. The sweet potato fries are the best I've had on my travels around the world so definitely make sure you grab some with your burgers.

I had the signature Buco Burger and I even used gloves to eat it as it is a big old juicy boy! The first half of the burger is incredible but once you get to the second there is not enough acidity in the burger and the sugar on the bread really becomes a bit overpowering and the brioche becomes soggy. Still great flavours with the pork and the beef and my friend who got a different burger said hers was delicious.

Very disappointed with the service we received here. We were the first to arrive, be seated and have our order taken but 45 minutes later our food had not been served while 2 other tables had been given theirs. We asked the waiter what the problem was but he was quite dismissive. We didn’t order anything out of the ordinary, no special orders or anything like that. After a 3rd table was given their food we decided to leave. Admittedly, they didn’t charge us for the drink we had while we were waiting (we offered to pay though). There was no good reason given to us as to why our food was so delayed and the attitude of the staff was disinterested as best.
