Absolutley terrible service. We ordered two of their brioche toast with avocado & egg. We had to wait 1 hour and 35 minutes to get it. The most annoying part was that a couple next to us that came in 30 minutes after us got their food, finished eating, and left before we got our food (even though one of them ordered the same thing as we did). The staff, except for one guy, seemed annoyed and unfriendly, even though we didn't even complain and just sat there patiently waiting. (We definitley should have complained in hindsight). They were also completely unapologetic even though we had waited for so long. When we finally got our food, my brioche bun wasn't even toasted and had half as much tomato on it as my partner's. I maybe wouldn't have noticed except for that he ordered the same thing, so I could clearly see that his was toasted and had twice as much tomato. My partner sat so he could see where they made the food, and it made no sense that they were so slow. At some point, our food just layed unfinished on the kitchen counter for 25 minutes before someone attended it and finished making it. Most of the times no one was even activley making food in the kitchen??
I usually don't complain, but this was ridiculous. I get that they had a lot of customers when we were there, but they also were at least four people working, and it shouldn't take over one hour to poach an egg and slice an avocado. I really don't recommend this place even though the...
Read moreThis little cafe is located just on the outskirts of the city centre of Palma. This is within walking distance to the city centre, through scenic streets and alleyways.
On arrival, there is seating outside and limited seating indoors. Only downfall is there is no AC but they have a lovely breeze through the doors and windows.
The food was so nice, fresh and light. We both got the poached egg with avacado and tomato on a brioche bun. This was beautifully presented and tasted even more amazing. They serve iced coffee which were lovely and freshly squeezed orange juice. We also got a sweet treat - Banana Bread and it was so tasty.
We would definitely recommend this little spot - we will definitely be back here again when we revisit Majorca.
Pros: Pet Friendly Friendly and welcoming staff Speedy service Easy to read menus and great selection Amazing food and healthy options
Cons: On a busy day, seating could be limited Warm when sitting inside (has windows and doors open though)
100% recommend this cafe for a visit and pssstt try the...
Read moreThis cafe was a great find in Palma when we were there. So much so, my partner and I went twice for breakfast. And it was so great one time we had a fight with each other - I remember more the cafe than what the argument was about.
We ordered various open sandwiches on both occaisions and bakery items. The coffee was great and there were other drinks including non alcoholic beer. Something I never tried before was orange coffee that was coffee pulled with orange rind in the group so the coffee had a delicate orange flavour. It was excellent.
On the strength of the vibe of the place, the attitude of the staff and quality of the food served, the best thing we did on that trip was to ask the staff for other recommendations of places to eat in Palma. We got some great tips and learned a little more about the city too. A great experience. And my partner and I are still...
