I am from Majorca itself and every time I go here I am more surprised. Despite being now quite famous and touristic, these rather small and cozy bakery has maintained the low prices and the high quality of its products. That's why still nowadays Majorcan people go here too to have a delicious ensaimada or a piece of coca de quarto. A must visit if you ever plan to come here and yet between the best quality your money can buy on Majorcan desserts!

Ensaimada here is incredible. You have to come try it for yourself fresh to appreciate how fluffy it is. Almost dissolved when dipped into the hot chocolate. I personally prefer this style of hot chocolate - less thick and less sweet than traditional kind, perfect for dunking your ensaimada and sponge bread (cuarto) into. The savory meat and pea pie (empanada) is packed with chunky meat and gelee, served room temp. Crazy filling and delicious!

Incredibly authentic Spanish cafe experience. It's busy and kinda confusing if it's table service or not, but if you queue by the counter you'll figure it out. Gorgeous thick hot chocolate and pastries. Bustling busy vibe of people coming in and out - would be a good spot to grab a table, enjoy the art and watch the locals come in and out for take away pastries!

It was lovely and beautiful little cafe.. We tried traditional ensaimadas and they were sooo soft and delightful.. You must try it.. We also had coffee and chocolate ice cream and it was delicious.. It had unique tast, not like any other ice cream I had before.. So also must have.. 😊 perfect place to have a break while exploring Palma de mallorca.. 😊

Tradition, Quality and Attitude! A secret old place that you want to discover. But only until the waiters first ignore you waiting or looking for a place. More busy passing by of 3 waiters until I can order. But only after being schooled about the place. My recommendation is to buy something to go. The cafe cortado was more con leche anyway...

We found this place on a list of where to eat the best Ensaimada which is a Mallorcan delicacy and this place definitely delivers! Highly recommended although I’d you come too late (we went in the afternoon) they only had plain Ensaimada left which is also delicious. Don’t forget to try the coca de patata as well as the Horchata de Almendras!
