Chez Camille — Restaurant in Palma

We were six people and everyone ordered something different. Sea food, salmon in my case, steaks... everyone was really happy and satisfied with their food choices and how they tasted!

I can only speak about the salmon with chips and cava sangria. The salmon was well cooked and seasoned and the pickled onions on top were a fitting addition. The chips had a nice and soft texture, and I was glad to see the restaurant was preparing their own rather than using frozen options. The sauces were good, they fit better with the chips rather than the salmon.

I've had sangria in many places and different cities of Spain, but I've never tried a cava sangria before. I'm really glad I've decided to try it out at this restaurant, because it was very enjoyable to drink. Usually the sweetness was most dominant in other sangrias I've tried till that point, but this one had a perfect balance between fruitiness and alcohol flavour intensity.

Other than the food, the restaurant was looking great and the waiter was friendly and welcoming, always careful that we're not missing...

Facts: had a late lunch after visiting the city. Ordered somon and beef. While eating the somon, I found in the mashed potatoes one string of a metal sponge for dishes. I called one waiter to show it to him. He came, saw, and asked his colleague to see as well. The other colleague came, saw the string that I put on a paper towel and took it. I continued to eat. I asked for the bill and came with 15% discount for the trouble. See the attached bill, so you can track my time there, and even look on the camera recording to see that all my statements are true. Personal feeling: I ate in restaurants a big part of my life. These things happen, hair or foreign objects might end up in the food. But all the time I either got that dish, or the entire meal for free, even in poorer countries. So, one star from me and never coming...

The food was really tasty and big portions. I personally recommend the ribs. I am giving 4 stars because the prices and the menu on the website are completely different than the physical menu at the restaurant. When i asked about why this discrepancy happening, the waiter rudely answered “YES” without any apology or explanation. Come on guys, this is a service industry..

As a business owner, i would never open any place without updating all related information and i would personally apologize for any inconvenience from the customer. If so, i would bill the customer with online prices not higher prices. Overall great food...
