Hello,
After careful consideration, I would like to express my thoughts and disappointment regarding our evening at your restaurant. I am still speechless. I also refer to the review by Johannes S. and your response.
Dear Adriane, I must unfortunately reject your argumentation, as I believe that many things were fabricated. Please ensure that you do not confuse facts and roles and remain truthful. Caution is advised on the internet to avoid spreading falsehoods. None of us claimed that we wanted to cause trouble. Our goal was simply to spend an entertaining culinary evening at your establishment.
I would like to correct:
During the reservation, we emphasized that we primarily wanted to come for the delicious wines. It seems you interpreted more into it, which is not correct. It is wrong to assume that we wanted to dine within 30 minutes, as our reservation was at 9:30 PM and according to your website, Google, and Instagram, Fabrick closes at 10 PM.
The four of us arrived at 9:36 PM due to traffic and learned that the restaurant was still open despite the late hour. We found this regrettable, as we highly appreciate your cuisine and had eaten elsewhere previously. Nevertheless, we intended to enjoy several bottles of wine, cheese, dessert, and digestif.
Upon entering the premises, we noticed the Grappa Nonino. Initially, we ordered a bottle of wine (assuming it wouldn't be the only one) and a bottle of sparkling water. The wine was perfectly chilled and tasted excellent. When we wanted to order desserts and cheese, the owner sighed, rolled her eyes, and said in a sharper tone, "No guys, this can't be serious. You have exactly 30 minutes to finish the bottle and leave my establishment (my home)."
It felt like we were being pushed out. We canceled all dessert orders, as rushed eating is no fun. After 20 minutes, we finally left the restaurant.
From a customer's perspective, I am extremely disappointed. Your behavior was inappropriate. Pointing out to us that you have bills to pay at the end of the month is not fitting. On the contrary, your task is to whisk us away from everyday life and spread joy. After all, we are on vacation and seeking positivity. Your disrespectful and condescending comments dampened our mood. However, despite the disappointing evening at your restaurant, our evening fortunately continued positively afterward.
From a gastronomic point of view: This is not how one should treat a guest. Even if you had a bad day - which can happen - it is important to spread good vibes throughout the duration of the visit. Even if guests initially order less, it is not foreseeable how much they might order later. That is unpredictable. Your task is to impress and gain future regulars.
A small piece of advice: To avoid misunderstandings for future guests, it would be helpful to work on your external advertising regarding opening hours.
In conclusion, I wish you and your establishment all the best. Unfortunately, we will not be returning to your place in the near...
Read moreDining out with close friends on a hot but beautiful evening, we descended on the lovely Fabrick Food&More in Palmas Santa Catalina district.
The place is run competently by Italians Adriana and Andrea. Andrea is the master behind the scene, in the kitchen and Adriana changes crockery (and guides the hungry traveler and generally lights up the place).
I would probably call the kitchen "Mediterranean with a twist” - so expect to be surprised as well as excited.
We chose to leave everything in the capable hands of Adriana and let her choose food as well as vine. We shared all dishes between us and together, they made up a great impromptu tasting menu, displaying what Andrea can accomplish in the kitchen. Veggie, fish and meat - all dishes were delicious and accompanied by great Mallorcan natural white wine (picked by Adriana of course).
Whether you do as us and let Andria choose or you order from the menu, make sure to include their signature octopus treat. I have had a lot of good octopus, but no one hits the mark like Andrea's does!
Oh, and the ambience and quirky décor of Fabrick Food&More just adds to the overall experience.
Below is my 2022 Review
I was tempted to write a one word recommendation for Fabrick Food&More, but I was afraid that one word wouldn't do it justice...
The lovely litte restaurant at the far end of Carrer de Sant Magí in Palma de Mallorca is still charming and still amazing.
We were finally back after three years, my wife our daughter and myself. Wondering if the magic was still alive. No need to beat about the bush - it very much is.
We had 3 different starters and 3 different main courses. Everything was amazing, the ambience, the food, the wine (a local Mallorcan orange wine from Jaume de Puntiró).
Andrea is very much the undisputed master of the kitchen (in particular working with the octopus 🐙) and Adriane is your charming host and guide.
In a city with so much catering to the lowest common denominator and so many tourist traps, do yourself a favour and indulge at Fabrick Food&More. Life is so short, but this is SO good.
Oh, and by the way, that one word...

We were very lucky to walk in on this; a day in October 2023... but that should not be expected (not even in a low season as we did... yes, it is that good!.. we felt lucky... would not expect that to happen again... I expect this will become a "must book" only resturant)... this resturant deserves a waiting list....
It is run and operated by a married couple, we got the owners as waiter (the girl) and chef (the husband)... just a few tables... but they are truly TRULY passionate about their resturant... and it is all a well oiled machine... from the interior to the food and the wines...even got their own beer, own olive oil etc.
The mix of high end tastfull dishes served with carefully selected cutlery and plates (some even from H&M...it just works in perfect harmony, style and interior matches).... + matches and the food... which was awesome... meaning Michelin Bib gourmand worthy (even potentially higher.... it is that good... few dishes... but really good quality)...
The best husband and wife resturant I have ever been to... (both as truly exceptional) ... newer seen anything like this in London, Paris, NYC or other large cities.... small and cosy resturant, few tables (like 8 or 10) ... but omg it is nice...
Very vegetarian friendly too... (serves both vegetarian and meat/fish)... No set meny; just fantastic dishes.
One of the better resturant I have been to... the owners passion for food and wine, and ability to find good affordable wines, beers, drinks and dishes that matches truly came together here.
(If this couple keep their standards to the level we experienced, and this will become a resturant where it will be impossible to get a table... it...
