Update! Went back and better experience! Thanks to its owners and consistent food! Our girls love love authentic carbonara and my fave is the Vongole while my husband is the porchetta!Almost perfect. Hence, the 4 stars. Had a quick lunch. Pasta was lovely, ordered Carbonara and Pasta Giromatto, both were done well. Carbonara was made in the authentic way to while the latter had a fresh flavor profile with the Gambas and buratta. we also tried an entrée, the Porchetta - this was cooked to perfection. I tried the Tiramisu, this was disappointing. Unfortunately, it lacked any espresso/coffee flavor. The whole cup was a big blob of cream and not the yellow/white eggs plus mascarpone that’s carefully whisked which was what I was looking for.. But I would definitely go back for the pasta dishes. On another note, there was a cute dog but at some point sadly it was trying to go to our pans that had food. Our daughter was able to entertain the dog. Although it would have been better, if we were able to have some space from the dog while we ate. (We’re used to dogs but we prefer to eat first before playing with dogs) Overall, we love the pasta and the experience. The server/owner not sure we’re accommodating...
Read moreAbsolutely fantastic little place. After a day of travelling, my partner and I were starving and on the hunt for something satisfying and Giromatto did not disappoint. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with that authentic Italian welcome. The owner could see that I was exhausted with the heat and instantly brought me an ice cold glass of water. He explained the dishes on the menu and offered some suggestions. We opted for the carbonara and the Giromatto pasta. Both dishes as delicious as each other, the carbonara - better than I've had in Rome. Generous portions. We finished off with a tiramisu and some coffees, a perfect ending. We certainly left satisfied. If I am ever to return to Palma restaurant Giromatto will be top of the list to visit and would highly recommend to anyone else visiting or living...
Read moreIncredible food - a must visit. We had been recommended to come here by another local and I am so grateful because the food, service and atmosphere was 10/10. It's a small venue that serves genuine, well balanced and delicious Italian food. They cater really well for dietaries (I can't have dairy, which is pretty terrible for an Italian restaurant, but they handled it with ease). We had the artichoke and ravioli to start, which were incredible and the prawn pasta and veal milanese for main, again both were outstanding. The portions are big, so come hungry and you'll have a brilliant evening. Simone's book is also a must read (even for non-football...
