Gibson Bar — Restaurant in Palma

From the outside this bar has a lovely atmosphere, people are enjoying themselves and it’s really inviting. It’s a real shame that the staff completely ruin it, it could be a truly lovely bar.

We entered and there was a spare table but people had moved the chairs. We were happy to stand as it was very busy. As we entered I asked for a beer and the bartender was extremely rude and kept repeating ‘’what’’ in a very aggressive way.

After I ordered he asked me if I was sitting out side I answered yes and he sent me outside. We headed outside and again I was confront with another man who again was extremely rude, he asked me what I wanted again in a very unpleasant way.

After returning back inside they were dismissive and told us we had to leave as we couldn’t stand there and used his hand to tell us to go.

As I mentioned it’s very unfortunate, the place has a lovely atmosphere but the staff completely ruin it. We will not be returning or recommending...

Came here with friends and drinks were ordered, I was given the wrong drink, they were informed, the food came, I decided I was leaving and my drink finally arrived as I was walking out, and then the bar tender abused me and screamed at me, saying the drink only was in the 6 minute time frame he had to make it, but our initial order was a good 20-30 mins before it arrived.. was really a very unpleasant experience, and I would say not to bother… very very angry and abusive bar tender and highly unprofessional to scream at me and my friends and act like an absolute child. He may have only received the order in this time frame so I understand, but they didn’t take the order correctly....
