We came out for late night food and some cocktails. After hearing so many great things about Nicolás, we decided to check it out.
The number one disappointment of course was that in all of Mallorca, the kitchen closes at 11pm - merrrrp. That's totally our bad and our fault. They don't have a lot of food options here it's more snacks, and cheeses and things like that. We decided to stay for some snacks and a cocktail and really loved the vibes of this place - especially the inside area.
I can totally see this spot as a cool spot to hang out after dinner for a drink, come on a little date with your partner or catch up with friends while on vacation.
For me, if I'm hungry I can't be as lively as I'd want so of course I couldn't fully get the best out of here but it was still a very nice experience. The cocktails were good but nothing I'd go home raving about. We all ordered a cocktail and all of ours were pretty on the standard side. Our friend had a mocktail and even though it was so pretty to look at, it seems it was on the way sweeter (undrinkable) side.
Other than that, we really enjoyed the iberico board with different kinds of cheeses - some really delicious, aged and funky ones and their complimentary popcorn. We had a really nice night - just next time, gotta remember...
Read moreHad been before and had an amazing experience hence the desire to return, this time with 5 friends for a celebratory birthday drink. Our «first round» was great but when we tried to get the attention of 4 different waiters (all milling about but avoiding eye contact) for twenty minutes to reorder, we were rudely snubbed. After physically getting up to ask them for drinks, we were told that they were very busy (the bar had, by this stage, had emptied out considerably)and couldn’t help us. We paid the bill and left… (While cocktails were great the staff was...
Read moreNice vibe and overall a good-looking cocktail bar, but I was disappointed with the drinks. I ordered a Tommy’s Margarita, which should be tequila, lime and agave – no salt rim. Instead, mine came with a salt rim and no trace of agave, essentially just a standard Margarita. At first I thought maybe I’d ordered wrong, but when the bill arrived it clearly said Tommy’s Margarita.
With the level this bar aims to be at, I don’t think these kinds of mistakes should be happening. If you’re advertising a classic cocktail like Tommy’s, it should be...
