We had a fantastic experience at Taste Mallorca. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented — a perfect mix of local and classic Spanish dishes with a modern touch.
We ordered the Iberian ham, Caesar salad, cod, goat cheese salad, patatas bravas, and Padrón peppers. Every single dish was delicious. The Iberian ham was rich and perfectly sliced, the Caesar salad was crisp and well balanced, and the cod was tender and full of flavor. The goat cheese salad was a standout — fresh, creamy, and perfectly paired with greens and a light dressing.
The patatas bravas and Padrón peppers were the perfect sides — simple, tasty, and exactly what you’d hope for in a Spanish-style meal.
The restaurant looks very authentic, with tasteful decor that reflects the spirit of Mallorca. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even better.
Definitely a place we’d return to and recommend to anyone looking to enjoy great food and warm hospitality...
Read moreI am so surprised by the good food reviews here. It was one of the worst food we ate, especially in Palma, where there are so many good options. Appetizers “stuffed mussel” was smelly and old, most of the baked things come with tasteless, unpleasant cheese on top (we like cheese), and almost everything is deep fried in some unpleasantly smelling oil, greasy and just gives away “bar food”. Asparagus was relatively good, that is it. But the worst of all was burger. Not sure what they did with the cheese, but it tastes like a block of cheap margerjne. I could not taste meat behind that. Burger also had nothing except piece of meat, that awful “cheese” and tomato. Meat was flavorless, so no taste in the whole meal at all. Drinks were fine. Service was good, friendly and pleasant, I cannot complain here at all, only the food is very, very bad. Cannot...
Read moreAnother enjoyable trip to Tast Unión! There's always a crowd there - in a good way! - so it's worthwhile booking either a bar space (informal) or a regular table.
Just two of us on this visit, so would have preferred the relaxed style of the bar, but they were fully booked. We were early, so a regular table was available straight away.
The food was great! We can thoroughly recommend the scrambled eggs with black pudding (morcilla), the oxtail, and the beef topped with Roquefort! Pimientos Dr Padron always pleases.
The bottle of wine we had, a white Rueda, was good at a sensible price (€16). Lots of other wines and beer available.
Recommend a visit if...
