Today 20 minutes before 11:00 PM with my friend, we sat at a table in "Bar bosh". The moment we sat down, a waiter ran up to us and asked us what we order, and I replied that we needed a second thought. We opened the menu wanting to choose something, the waiter came after 2 minutes without giving us time to choose food. The waiter shouted arrogantly and with anger in his voice asked what we order! I was upset by his behavior because I and my friend were tired and we just wanted to eat. I answered the waiter that I and my friend need time to choose something from the card and order. The waiter responded quickly that: "What country are you from? And about what time restaurants are closed in your country?" I replied that I was from Poland and I am the first time in this restaurant and I do not know which time they close. The waiter responded quickly that they would close in 20 minutes (11:00 pm). I did not expect the waiter to say it in bad intentions. I really thought that maybe it was the end of the day and he was frustrated. Therefore, with the friend immediately, we ordered the first item from the card (tortillas, wine and water), the waiter accepted the order and ran. He did not even ask me what wine we wanted ... After 5 min he put on white wine, water and a bill. I have not seen anything like this in any restaurant, nor in Poland, nor in Germany or in the world, and in various corners of the world I have visited. The waiter treated us very badly and was cheeky. For another 5 minutes, we were given "tortillas" (thick buns in which between the wrapped egg). As far as I know, the tortilla looks different ... My friend ate this roll, I did not even touch it too much, I drank only wine. I looked at the people next to who were sitting at other tables and everyone spoke German. Then I understood the waiter was forewarned to us to people who speak Polish. I felt very bad at that time and wanted to leave this place as soon as possible. The first time I came for a Palma and I wanted to spend a nice time. And here on the last day of the stay, something like that ...
From once I paid the bill 13 euros plus a tip of 2 euros. Then the waiter came over and when he saw the money on the table it was suddenly nice - he asked if we liked food. I responded kindly that such a tortilla I have not seen it yet and that thank you and goodnight. The waiter also thanked me and my friend and I went to the hotel. After arriving at the hotel I checked on the internet that the restaurant is open until 01:00 at night. The waiter lied to us that only until 23:00 he treated us badly and I am sorry for that. I do not quite understand the behavior of this waiter. Maybe he is prejudiced against people from Poland. If he is prejudiced, let me just say that Poland is a country that has been torn apart by wars, poverty and hunger, due to the wretched behavior of the Germans. How many more Poles will suffer for the fact that the Germans have failed us decently. Is it that Majorca is mostly settled by the Germans - does it give them the right to mistreat Poles? Poland changed from time when the Germans massacred Poles in German concentration camps. I work as a computer graphic designer, my friend as a programmer - we only wanted to spend a few days on Mallorca. Should I apologize to the waiter for being a...

This bar was a favourite of ours for many years, it was a traditional bar serviced by mature men in smart uniforms. Perhaps a little staid, but reliable. A place to soak up the rich culture of Palma and people gaze.
Then it underwent a transformation, with new owners I believe, but not for the better. Service deteriorated to the bare minimum, attracting attention was an exercise in wild gesticulation and patience.
We continued to come, it was a tradition, but it was also a frustration and no longer a pleasure or the highlight that it used to be. Even as recently as September last year, there seemed to be a surliness , an intolerance, by the staff that made you feel as if you should be grateful if they deigned to provide you with a drink or food. Bosch spent several years in the wilderness, not living up to its historic promise.
That was then. Having just returned from Palma and with several visits to Bosch under our belt during the week, the old Bosch is back. Pleasant, attentive staff, minimal delays, prompt service, decent food and best of all smiles and engagement. A new happy memory.
Fingers crossed that they have rediscovered the recipe to their magic sauce and that we can look forward to many more years of a relaxing cerveza or vino in what is the hub of a lovely city.
The only thing we miss now are the old prices. But you can’t...

Having strolled the streets of Palma, my aging parents and me visited this place and bought an ice cream from their ice cream stand. We decided to take a seat and rest our tired legs for 5 minutes. Very quickly the waiter reprimanded us for occupying a table as “ice cream is a take away item”. As if it was the most natural thing in the world. If we wanted to sit we had to order something from him. I could not believe my own ears but ordered an espresso.
When it was time to leave, I asked another member of staff for the bill in English. She had no clue what I was talking about. The penny dropped however, when I said “la cuenta, por favor”. 5-10 minutes later there was still no sight of the bill so we decided to get up and leave. I’d only pushed the chair back when who I assume was the head waiter was ready with the card machine.
I almost forgot to mention the flying fried calamari and French fries from the table next to us where there was a dove attack on some leftovers from other customers that hadn’t been cleared.
I never write reviews on Google but this place deserved one. I hope it was worth the extra 2,60 Euro for the espresso which was left untouched...
