Latitude bar — Restaurant in Palma

Wandered into this bar on my first night in Palma. Many bars and restaurants are closed until 7 or 8pm, but Latitude was open. Run by Angelo and Georgia both from Italy. They were engaging, fun, attentive, and great conversationalists! I tried Italian red and Prosecco and both were delicious. Also had the Tomato and mozzarella and the eggplant and hummus tapas, both fabulous! I enjoyed this little bar so much I returned 2 more times during my 5 days in Palma! 4-cheese pizza was outstanding as well. Christopher is the primary bartender and makes phenomenal drinks from their extensive drink menu! The bar has about 8 tables inside and lots of seating outside to enjoy the weather and sunshine. I was pulled in by a seemingly friendly member of staff offering discounts on drinks. €4 for a Mojito (“the best in Palma”). We got the drinks and surprisingly they were not great. When we asked for the bill we were charged double at €16 for 2 and told that on the menu it is €8 per drink although that was not what we were told. After solving the dispute with the bar manager a bald member of management started throwing racial slurs at me thinking we wouldn’t understand Spanish, telling us we are not going anywhere and if we wanted to fight him. This place is amazing! It was my first time in Palma and I didn’t know what to expect. On my first night there, I was walking back to the hotel with my wife when we heard some really good music—it drew us in. But that was just the beginning. Angelo greeted us and made us feel right at home with that warm Italian hospitality (the best!). Then Christopher crafted the most amazing drinks.
