Agra Tandoori Indian Restaurant — Restaurant in Palma

When We saw the couple-set-menu sign displayed in the street, We were quite keen on it. After being settled in the restaurant, We were given the menu "à la carte" only and after asking for the couple-set-menu, the waiter got clearly sulked and angry ! What the point of proposing that set-menu when you do not play the game ! The last straw was when the waiter told us that our couple-set-menu only includes one dessert to share ! That was ridiculously petty and mean ! Whatever, We were almost full and We did not matter share it but, honestly, having to deal with such a Rude and Greedy waiter was off-putting. We definitely do not recommend this restaurant, there are so many better places in Palma where you can be nicely welcomed ! Moreover that the food had nothing special and was...

Food was fine and service was fast, but it was very hot with just the fans on. The biggest let down was the dishonesty! Firstly the waiter blatantly lied when we asked for tap water - He said it cannot be served since tap water is not safe to drink in Palma because it is an island, which we already knew was a lie having been in Palma for days. We paid for bottled water anyway as we didn’t want to argue. But worse, when the bill came, we discovered that they charged more than the prices on the menu!

If you are the owner and reading this, just update your menu prices and don’t lie - It is actually illegal for hospitality venues in Spain to refuse customers tap water...

Terrible. Paid €60 for 2 mains and 1 shared rice and 1 shared side. Almost a tenner for 2 soft drinks… they took my address off me twice on the phone and still got lost delivering and made me wait for 20 minutes to come up 4 flights of stairs (via a lift!?)

Offered us popadoms seemingly free of charge and then charged us €1.25 per popadom x 5 and another €5 for the dips.

I get the exact same order from the Indian a few doors down and it’s less than €30 and they don’t charge for popadoms.

I can only assume that the positive reviews are from their cousins.
