SĀNTAL - Palma — Restaurant in Palma

I have to be honest, ‘cause I am not the one doing reviews normally; but, being someone that works in the industry, it breaks my heart to see a place with so much potential delivers such a bad experience. Location, style, decoration, terrace, perfect!….but what about service, what about hospitality? You really should invest in the right team and training for your employers. We arrived there in a beautiful sunny Sunday, there is this girl telling us that there was no service ( I am not judging but she was not happy to be there). Terrace was disorganized, dirty glasses on dirty tables. We went inside to order, and they let us know that we should pay straight. The Chef was walking around with the hands in his pockets and complaining ( bad attitude). When the food was delivered, the server came with an extra plate ( that we did not order) and the answer was : “my colleague that took the order”. Tha avocado toasts were completly without love and flavour. The cookie was burned, the alfajor was really good ( the coffee too). We went to ask for mimosas and the server told us that she could not open a bottle for us, ‘cause some days before they open one that was not sold. After...

Went for a late breakfast. Service initially really slow and almost dismissive. Ordered two cold drinks that were both not drinkable at all. The lemonade tasted like pure lemon juice and the cold brew was bitter. When we asked to sweeten the drinks we were given golden syrup.

I had the avocado on toast with roasted cherry tomatoes and a poached egg. The tomatoes although had seen a pan were ice cold so was the poached egg. My partner had the chicken wrap that was okay just loaded with cheese and very little chicken.

Been here plenty and have never had such a mediocre food, drinks...

SĀNTAL Café is hands down one of the best spots in Palma for brunch. The food is absolutely delicious, fresh and beautifully presented. The pancakes are a real highlight: light, fluffy, and perfectly cooked.

What makes the experience even better is the atmosphere. The space is stylish yet cosy, and the service is genuinely warm and friendly. Every dish, from the avocado toast to the pastries, is made with care, and it shows.
