The waitress for our Sunday night dinner provided very bad service. Because of this, I will not return to this restaurant.
Be aware that the ingredients for the juices in the English menu is not the same as the Spanish menu. I was given a different juice than what I ordered. When this was brought up to the waitress, she not only gave us attitude, she did not apologize and assumed we already knew the English menu is outdated with wrong information. She didn’t even offer to take back the wrong juice and give me the actual one I ordered. Complete disrespect. I had a specific allergy to a certain type of fruit that could have been in the wrong drink they gave me that’s especially why I had to bring it up to the waitress. Very terrible service on her part for her bad attitude, no resolution, and impatience.
Another thing, this was a group dinner where we wanted to split the bill between two credit cards. Not allowed. This is a bogus restaurant policy. All the restaurants allow bill splitting except for this.
Lastly, the food was not good. It was ok. 3 stars. Service 1 star.
They need some major improvement. Not sure why this place...
Read moreMy partner is vegetarian and I’m not a huge fan of cheese so when abroad we sometimes struggle to find suitable places for the both of us that aren’t just typical salads or cheese toasties – not that we dislike these options, it’s just nice to have something a little different each day.
El Limon was however perfect as it provided a wide range of delicious and fully vegetarian recipes that we both thoroughly enjoyed and not only that, it was exceptionally cheap too! We visited the restaurant two evenings in a row to try out multiple dishes that took our fancy and both were equally as tasty. The staff are very friendly, speak English and provided an excellent service.
We were a little confused about which toilet to go into not being native speakers as they were labelled Sun and Moon...so we just guessed! At the end of the day it’s just a toilet so we didn’t really mind which one we used. We both recommend this restaurant for those who are veggie, vegan or just enjoy meant-free dishes. We also recommended the “Seitan Steak with...
Read moreI arrived when it was not very busy. I asked the waiter if they had 'menu of the day', yes soup first course and then burger and salad, I said great i will have that.
After waiter had gone I realised he dont ask about a drink. Then he appeared and put down a fruit juice, i said sorry I would like water not juice.
Then I looked at menu/tablemat and discovered it was 10,70 euros for menu of day but did included a pudding.
The soup arrived it was warm not hot, although tasty. Burger was ok with salad and coucous.
Then next he plonked down a slice of something as postre. Not what i liked it was chocolateish, and no choice was offered nor was I told what it would be before choosing menu del dia.
Would have been much better if on arrival he had properly explained what was included in menu of the day when I arrived. I wouldnt have had it. I would have chosen a soup and one other dish and a water.
But I guess I would still have been a bit disappointed with...
