We only had two cans of craft beer, so not a review of the food and countless other drinks they serve. A star for having local Tenerife beer on draft, quite rare, and should have gone for that. There's no menu for the cans so you've to go look at the fridge yourself. When you pick, the waitress will ring them up and bring them over. At no point do you know what price they are, unless you make a point of asking about each one. Our drinks took a while to come over and mine had obvious issues. The can at the bottom had exploded and this is why she carried it over on its side. I was worried so said I wouldn't drink it. She just put it on the table and walked off without a word. Not knowing what to do, I went over to the fridge to get another, while picking another waitress came over and picked out the burst beers and I handed over the new can. On getting back to my table I realised my glass was filthy.i don't mean a bit of lipstick which is difficult to get off, I mean not even cleaned. So brought it back and without a word was given another one. For e23 for two cans I'd like to be treated civilly. A huge shame as they've a great Spanish selection, but we won't be coming back on...
Read moreThird visit here and should have learned from the first two. Positives first, good selection of real craft beers from across Europe in cans and bottles and two taps of local craft beer (Ranilla), which is why I've given it two stars.
However don't bother, if you do visit just order from the selection of macro beers on tap or their cocktails. Anything else you do will just confuse and annoy the staff. If you do go look at the fridge don't expect any system to how they are arranged, be told how much a can or bottle costs, the staff to be helpful or to get a clean glass. Had two cans and the cost was over âŹ24, I'd happily pay that had the service been passable, my can had not been nine months old or if I didn't have to go get it, hand to a staff member who then took five minutes to bring it back to me (but unopened on a tray with a glass).
Craft beer is getting easier and easier to get on the island and there are much better places nearby that can offer a wide selection of craft beers produced on the...
Read moreCame here chasing craft beer dreams, greeted warmly by a friendly server who brought out the boss when I asked for something special. He recommended a sour, and later I went for a barley wine. Both beers were good â I expected a high bill, sure â but 27 euros for two 0.44 l cans? Thatâs beyond steep. One âapparentlyâ 12 âŹ, the other 15 âŹ. Not mentioning prices beforehand isnât just bad manners, it feels like a setup â and judging by other reviews, itâs a recurring game. So, dear travelers: always ask the price first, then order if youâre cool with it. The staff may be friendly, but that kind of business isnât. Next time Iâm on Tenerife, Iâll skip this...
