Restaurante La Pasión — Restaurant in Salou

We made a booking for 15 people here during the nationwide electricity cut. This restaurant told us we could still eat there despite there being no power which we really appreciated. Some items were understandably not available due to the blackout. The staff were very friendly and accommodating under difficult circumstances so we wanted to say thank you for your efforts 🙏

The food here is also very excellent... among other things we had the t-bone steak which came on a sizzling plate.. the monkfish and shrimp, the beef fillet mignon and various other things including salads etc. Everyone was very happy with the quality of the food and it's even more amazing that they could produce such high quality meals under such difficult circumstances.

On top of everything... we were celebrating a birthday and they managed to organise a guy in a bunny rabbit suit to bring out the cake. Amazing service!

Every time we visit Salou, we try to visit this gem of a restaurant. This holiday we ate there 3 times in the evening. This is without any doubt one of or even simply the best restaurant of Salou serving local food. Everything is prepared with fresh ingredients and cooked with passion. The cook, the staff are all so nice and friendly. Be sure to eat the zarzuela/paella/caldereta, they are to die for......Also all tapas are wonderful. Housewines are also very good and not expensive. So if you are looking for honest local Catalan/Spanish food, don't look any further and visit this restaurant, you will certainly not regret. But be sure to make reservations, cause the place fills up very quickly...

La Pasion is located in downtown Salou. Welcoming waitstaff with indoor and outdoor seating. Menus were available in English. Ordered the menu of the day, one with fish and the other with paella. Meal came with prosciutto topped bruschetta, duck pate, salmon tartar, and grilled shrimp. Excellent. The fish was served with yummy potatoes and was delicious. The seafood paella tasted great, but the rice was al dente which I prefer cooked more until soft. Had the flan and cake for dessert. Service was great....
