The cashier lied to us while paying. I specifically told her that I would like to pay in Euros, but behind the counter she selected my local currency. I confronted her with the fact that it was converted to my local currency on the receipt, but she guaranteed me that she always chooses euro, and it wasn’t an error. Two days later when the transaction shows up on my bank records, I see that she in fact had chosen my local currency and thereby forcing their own banks extreme conversion rates. This establishment has a good selection of goods perfumes after shaves creams etc along with wallets purses sunglasses swimming trunks etc. A very pleasant and well laid out establishment. However it took me approximately 30 seconds to find what I was looking for and approximately 10mins to pay for it. There were 4 staff in the shop that I observed and at least 3 tills and only 1 being manned by 1 of the staff dealing at some length with a customer. Eventually I was served. The staff although pleasant don't seem to understand that their main job is to serve customers quickly and efficiently and make money. Smiling was certainly something she had never done in her life apparently and she asked me 3 times if I wanted that model (as if to suggest that she wasn't going to get another one in case I changed my mind).
