Believer House — Restaurant in San Cristóbal de La Laguna

Wow - what a unexpected treasure. This spot offered us one of the best all-gluten-free dining experiences we've ever had. Three of four of my family have celiac disease, so eating out is often a risky venture. The owner-operators were also very charitable with us - we arrived a bit late on a Sunday afternoon. It's a small place, and the tables were scheduled to be full. Yet they generously offered us to come back 45 minutes later and seated and fed us well. In trying to offer our gratitude upon being the last customers of the day, they lingered and chatted with us, even though I know they were ready to begin their weekend!

Our children loved the chicken pops and potatoes, my wife loved the veal volcano, and I loved my fried chicken and veggies. Plus the sweet potato bread! We were in Tenerife for four nights, and this was by far our favorite meal of the trip. Thank you! Next time we'll have to...

I want to thank Casa Credente whole heartedly! First, they have a designated gluten free menu! And it’s not just for show as it’s also just plain delicious! The sweet potato bread with spiced butter was amazing, followed by the incredible croquettes. Second, my husband wasn’t feeling well (not because of the food, but a long travel day) so we decided to take the rest of our meal to go. The host and cook were so gracious in helping with this request and made the rest of our food for take away. We wished we were able to have spent the whole meal in the restaurant as it is such a great atmosphere, but glad we were able to enjoy the food regardless (especially the cheesecake!!). Thank you so much!!! If we are ever in La Laguna again, we will certainly return to...

Don't know, probably because I looked like a tourist they thought it's ok to mislead and serve with penne instead of their "famous green banana pasta".

They did not bother to let me know about the change or that they run out. Instead, blantly served a random dish, which was OK, for 16€ you can eat so much better elsewhere.

Disappointed. Would not return...
