Café Café — Restaurant in San Cristóbal de La Laguna

03/02/2025. I just stopped by at 20:15 and politely asked if I could sit and have a coffee. The young man at the bar told me they were only serving the people already there, as they were closing soon — even though the listed closing time was still 45 minutes away.

I understand if there are closing routines or staff limitations, but it left me wondering if I was wrong to come in with that much time left or if declining a table was just the policy. It would be helpful if this was made clearer, as it can feel a bit disappointing to be turned away when hoping to enjoy a quick coffee...

Very rude staff. Was at the door for more than 10 minutes, the waitress would pass by me without even acknowledging my presence despite my attempts to only ask if they were full. Couldn’t try the food as the service:hosting was so horrible I decided to leave. Fuimos a desayunar ayer domingo sobre las 9:30 y salimos 2 horas más tarde.Lo primero te comandan la comida y te traen el café y una hora más tarde te traen la comida ,cuando o ya te has bebido el café o se te ha quedado helado .El chico de la cocina que estaba solo ,iba haciendo los bocadillos por cada comanda de mesa ,con una tranquilidad impresionante ,estábamos cerca de la cocina y por eso lo vi, en la plancha le cabían más.panes que 3 para agilizar la salida de comida .Le recomiendo que agilice esta tarea porque si no tendrán clientes insatisfechos ,los cuales se levantará de la mesa y se irán, como hicieron unos ,o simplemente probaras una vez y ya no repetirás más. Gestión pésima y poca experiencia o ganas ,menos mal que los bocadillos estaban buenos , todo ello debido a su preparación meticulosa.Y lo peor que hay es un café ☕️ frío, ya se porque se llama Cafe Cafe ,porque rw tienes que pedir un segundo café para acompañar...
