What a nice discovery in the Gros neighborhood across the street from the beach. Although you cannot see the shoreline, you can watch the surfers run across the street to catch some waves.

I was pleasantly surprised by my dishes in order of recommendation: Tripe was amazing in tenderness and flavor. Full sabor with sofrito and a little picante. 2) By owner recommendation the tortilla stuffed with white asparagus, cheese, and ham. Tender stalks with the cheese which acts like a sauce. 3) Pork cheeks and mash. Also a winner but i've found this elsewhere too. In other words you cannot go wrong. I also had two glasses of Rioja, which I did not know comes in white as a Chardonnay. You will also love the prices. Dry with surprising sweet note at the finish. Love forward...

Fantastic bar/restaurant close to the beach. It’s quite a small place, but everything is home made, the owners take great care of the product selection. They can be really proud, it’s the best pintxos I’ve tasted between Bilbao and Donostia.
