Definitely not a place for someone who knows and appreciates Italian cuisine. Quick pizza? Maybe, based on other reviews. Pasta dishes? Not recommended. They a) don’t even have all of the ingredients they are supposed to (our puttanesca came without anchovies …enough said), b) are incredibly bland (at least there was salt on the side). One has to appreciate the friendly service - the waiter told us the sparkling wine was not going to be good (it wasn’t) and asked whether everything had gone all right when we were paying (it didn’t). Bad and rude service. And expensive. After we ordered, and throughout the meal, we were treated as if they didn’t want us there. Also, they added some strange charges to our bill (see photo), and when I went to ask, the man just turned his back to me and started talking on the phone. Rude and incorrect. As the “extra charges” were not a lot of money and we still had a long drive ahead of us that day, after a short visit to the city, we left. Habíamos decidido comer en este sitio porque había visto buenas reseñas y que pertenecía a verdaderos italianos, y bueno. Pedimos un par de aperitivos, muy bien hechos (aperol spritz y negroni sbagliato) y muy ricos. El problema ha sido la comida. Pedimos unas croquetas y una arancini de entrante, que se sirvieron en pequeños platos sobre unas servilletas. Pues bien, tuvimos que quitar la parte del rebozado que estaba en contacto con la servilleta, porque se había quedado pegado y no había manera de quitarlo. Pedimos también unos spaghetti carbonara y era básicamente una sopa de huevo cuajado con algo de panceta por ahí. La pasta estaba sobrecocida, muy muy pasada del punto ideal. Un plato sosísimo, mal hecho, insípido y que no es para absolutamente nada parecido a una carbonara de verdad, que tampoco es tan complicada de hacer. Pedimos también unos fetucini, bastante correctos, y unos raviolis, que estaban bien, pero quizá algo fríos y la cantidad un poco escasa en relación al precio. En resumen, una decepción, en general.
