Terrible service. Manager/owner as rude, arrogant and unprofessional as it gets. We order wine by the glass. They bring a horrible Rioja. Pure vinegar. The bottle was bad to start with or probably had been open for days. We send it back. They bring a Ribera del Duero from an almost empty bottle. My wife gets a somewhat acceptable pour, I get the dregs of the bottle, a quantity barely acceptable for tasting. I don’t go to restaurants to be taken advantage of so I personally bring the two glasses back to the manager. I show him the uneven pours and the ridiculous amount of wine in my glass. He gets all worked up and instead of apologizing he tells me the pours are fine because “he uses big glasses in his restaurant”! Who comes up with an excuse so nonsensical and offensive? This rude manager should go back to school and learn the meaning of the word hospitality once again. In short, if you’re looking for a good steak in Santa Cruz skip this restaurant. Plenty of better options in this...

The menu is in Spanish so we got a good presentation in Danish from Mr. Nielsen. 5 different dishes were served, which was extremely tasty and had a very good taste composition. The main course consisted of a medium fried black angus ribeye steak and homemade pomfrit as well as garlic butter. The dish could have been perfect with some garnish in the form of vegetables or roasted mushrooms. The wine menu was well balanced to the food. The kitchen and waiters work very well together with great precision even with an almost full occupied...
Read moreWe have been coming to Danny’s for three years now, and he has never let us down. Danny is always cheerful and takes his time with his customers. Nothing is ever too much for him, and everything runs so smoothly under his care.
His dishes are creative, always delicious, and the price-quality ratio is excellent. The Pol Roger champagne he serves is a real treat, and the service is consistently friendly and attentive.
The restaurant is set in a lovely street, with a warm and inviting atmosphere. Another highlight is the beautiful artwork by his wife Pilar, which gives the place an even more special touch.
This is truly a cozy family restaurant you can always rely on, with a generous host who makes every visit a wonderful experience.
Highly...
