Altobrasa - Restaurante de Carnes a la Brasa — Restaurant in Seville

Iba por una recomendación y ha sido toda una desilusión, doblemente mal porque me precian mis amigos porque casi siempre suelo acertar con la elección de los restaurantes. Aquí fallé. Primero de todo decir que eran 4 camareros y tres mesas ocupadas, no me explico cómo hay que llegar a pedir hasta en tres ocasiones que trajesen pan y picos. Una de las comensales pide tapa de jamón y le contesta el camarero que solo es media ración o entera, por lo que pide media. Ya servidos otros entrantes viene un camarero y nos informa que "le han prohibido poner media que solo es ración entera". O sea hasta el camarero desconocía este punto pero además lo elegante hubiese sido -creo yo- haberlo ya servida la media, y ya habría aprendido la lección el camarero para la siguiente vez. Entrantes literales de 4 espárragos con tres canutillos de salmón 9 euros. 1 tabla de quesos sin explicar las variedades y sin las nueces, ni mermeladas (de las fotos). 18 euros. Aparte de la guarnición escasísima de verduras, pedimos patatas fritas, literalmente a un euro la tira de patata frita (gruesas pero 5 ó 6 patatas.) La carne si estaba en su punto y estaba muy buena pero vino fría. Nos pusieron una plancha que dada la temperatura del pasillo del mercado se enfrió rápidamente. Solo hay una mesa en el interior y estaba ocupada, por lo que todas las mesas están en el pasillo de entrada del mercado, cada vez que la puerta automática se habría para entrar o salir los visitantes del mercado la rasca era sublime, y aunque no me quejo por la propia educación de ceder el paso pero no es de recibo tenerme que levantar y retirar la silla para que pudiesen pasar por el pasillo las sillas de ruedas (2) y cochecitos de bebés (2) y tampoco me gusta comer con el chaquetón puesto. También indicar la escasa carta de vinos, dos o tres bodegas con dos o tres diferentes vinos cada una. Así que lo siento mucho, pero fui con buenas expectativas y han sido demasiados los contratiempos.

RESPUESTA A LA RESPUESTA DE LA EMPRESA: LA RESERVA ERA EXACTAMENTE A LAS 14.3O Y LLEGUÉ PERSONALMENTE A AVISARLES A LAS 14.25 PREGUNTÁNDOLES SI HABÍA INCONVENIENTE EN QUE NOS TOMARAMOS ANTES UN APERITIVO EN OTRO LOCAL AL LADO, ME DIJERON QUE SIN PROBLEMA. JUSTO 15 MINUTOS DESPUÉS OCUPÁBAMOS LA MESA. A LAS 14:45. SOLO EN UNA OCASIÓN DOS DE LOS COMENSALES SALIERON A FUMAR Y QUISIERON LLEVAR LA BEBIDA, NO HUBO MÁS INSISTENCIA CUANDO SE LO INFORMÁSTEIS. O SEA FALSO. ES COMPLETAMENTE MENTIRA POR TANTO QUE LO ESTUVIÉSEIS RECORDANDO CONSTANTEMENTE. EL PAN SOLO SE SIRVIÓ UNA SOLA VEZ, TRÁS REITERADAS PETICIONES. O SEA OTRA MENTIRA QUE SIRVIÉSEIS MÁS PAN. UNA FALSEDAD MÁS: NO LES DEJÉ UNA GENEROSA PROPINA, APARTÉ AL CAMARERO JOVEN QUE FUE EL QUE ESTUVO MÁS ATENTO Y LE DÍ 2 EUROS Y LE ESPECIFIQUÉ QUE SOLO ERA PARA ÉL QUE NO LO COMPARTIESE CON LOS DEMÁS. SI LA MANERA DE DEFENDERSE USTED ES CON MENTIRAS EN VEZ DE DISCULPARSE SOLO REITERA Y AUMENTA...

Shown a special cut of meat, aged 30-60 days, knew the high price but worth it for top quality. What we received was very tough and filled with raw fat and sinew. Also, there was surprisingly little meat after removing the large bone and big portion of fat. Since the meat was sliced the kitchen must be aware of what they are serving. Even at a low price I would have been disappointed.

Salad was fine.

Not a big deal, but like other reviews we were surprised to be charged for bread brought to the table without asking. We didn't mention it as just wanted to move on.

Also strange, when we entered most of the tables said reserved, so we felt appreciative to get a table. When we left later towards 10PM almost all the tables were...

My husband and I asked for a Menu and were directed to a Digital Menu which we didn’t appreciate. We used Google Translate to choose a shared steak and fries. We asked for ‘well done’ and it arrived rare, tough and almost inedible….You cannot imagine our utter horror when the Bill was presented for €162.75. The Manager appeared when we questioned it and shouted aggressively…. We have NEVER experienced such absolute bad manners, intimidation and have no reservation in calling this out as abuse of Tourists who are not given a Menu - clearly priced. In a word -FRAUD. Dreadful abuse of trust and nothing to be proud of…. SHAME on ...
