Food was actually really nice. Rabo de toro and croquettes were worth a try. Interior was nice and location was great.
Service in general was terrible. The two guys were super good and efficient. But all the other girls were miserable. The usual no eye contact and selective hearing. For the number of tables they have, it was just not good enough depending on two servers.
Also we booked a table for 6 and with reservation you are seated in a separate area - the restaurant as opposed to the bar. With table cloths and cutlery 😂. Our table was right next to the toilet so we asked to be moved to another table. There were many empty ones not reserved. But the manager said no because our table is the only one for 6 😂. We were a bit baffled as all the tables were easily movable. Anyway we ended up getting a table in the bar without all the “fineries” 😂😂😂😂. And the restaurant remained empty when we left...
Read moreI've got a bad taste in my mouth, and I can't decide if it's because I'm bitter that I just got scammed, or if the food is that mediocre. I paid 17€ for a beef dish, expecting it to be an actual meal, and it was in the "recommended by the chef" category. My disappointment was great when I saw what was actually coming. It was just three poor pieces of cheap meat, full of cartilage and fat, topped by a sauce they most likely just heated up after taking it out of the freezer, and no accompaniment. My girlfriend's Tapas were less than mid, but at least the view and the sangrias were decent.
The servers made no effort, they gave us one menu for two, and in the wrong language, it doesn't seem like we're in one of the most touristic town of the world. After that disappointment, we bitterly paid our bill and went elsewhere to get an actual meal, even a cheap sandwich was...
Read moreMy son and I chose this restaurant for dinner based on its beautiful street appeal - lovely set up with little fireplaces outside. We should have left it there - the service bordered on outright rudeness. The wait staff barely looked at us as they threw the menu onto our table. They never smiled, they spoke abruptly and they made us feel incredibly unwelcome. I understand they might not like tourists but surely if that is the case, you don’t run a restaurant in a tourist area… I had croquettes which were ok but my son had a tapas meal that was essentially two overcooked fried eggs on hot chips - incredibly basic. Don’t waste a night at this average restaurant - go a little further away from the main strip and find one of the many lovely places that cook great food and have welcoming atmospheres. This place does neither of those...
