We came to this restaurant because its close to our house and next by the bridge in Triana. The menu also looked fun with fair prices. It took them 15 min to notice us and take our drink order. Then we had to ask them inside if they could go out and take our order. I put my hand up many times and i felt ignored. Mind that is was NOT busy at all, probably because Feria is coming. After 30 min they finally took our order. It took them another 25 min to bring the food. Finally the food arrived, we asked for bread right away while the food came. We are hungry and start eating while waiting for the bread. Now we have to pause eating because we still didnt receive any bread. We asked again, standing up and going to the bar, and thats when he put the bread in the oven. In the end the bread is nice. The ravioli cordero is spectacular, we ordered even 2 of them. The croquetas were fine and the ensaladilla was refreshing on this hot day. Because we waited for the bread the warm tapas got cold. We didnt ask for desert because we are scared to wait long for it. Food is nice but the service made it a bad experience for us. They...
Read moreThey offer a large selection of very tasty food, most of it in tapas portions too, and for great prices (around 4 euro/tapa). We were surprised with how big some of the portions were. For example, the whisky stirloin and octopus&rice tapas could easily pass for full-sized portions. Honestly I think one could get full with just a single portion, but we were curious to try more and it was so worth it! All the food we had was tasty, but I would especially recommend the lamb ravioli and whisky stirloin (had this one twice), amazing flavours! When we went for dinner during the week it was quite empty inside at 9PM, but at lunchtime on Saturday it was full, yet the service was still fast. A great experience both times! A little secret: even though it doesn't appear on the menu, they had tuna tartar too when we went, it was a quite big portion of avocado&fish, very...
Read moreWe tried to order drinks about 11pm when the place was packed. I ordered in Spanish (yes, I'm a tourist and I only speak basic Spanish) and he told me the place was closed. He said this as he was pouring beers for other customers who had ordered while we were there. We also saw food being delivered as he was telling us they were closed. I don't mind if you don't want to serve tourists, put a sign in your window to say tourists not welcome but don't insult my basic intelligence to tell me you're shut as you're serving...
