La catedral de la tapa, Buhaira — Restaurant in Seville

Popped in for dinner at 7.55pm to be told by the waitress they don’t do tapas till 8pm the chef I presumed overs rid her and told us to sit wherever we wanted She brought the menu took the order then disappeared outside with her arms wrapped round a bit outside In the meantime my food is cooked on the counter going cold the chef tried to get herattentions but she was far too busy with the boys outside When we finally finished we asked for the hill the waitress was on her phone outside the chef tried to get her attention but she just raised her arms at him as if to say she was busy We finally paid the bill and left the chef apologised for her behaviour , such adame as the food was beautiful but the service was 0 by...

I was at La Catedral de la Tapa on 13/02/2023 with my friend for dinner and I must say that I will DEFINITELY come back.

The highlight of the meal was adorable cook Mary who came out of the kitchen to recommend what to order since my friend was lactose intolerant, so we felt most welcomed when guided by the chef herself!

She came and checked on us to make sure everything was ok and we will always remember her smile.

Victor the waiter was charming with all his suggestions, he also looked well after us.

On top of that everything was absolutely delicious and for very affordable prices.

Thanks a lot to Mary and Victor, we will see you soon again next...

Homemade food with plenty of options to pick from. During lunch & dinner time there’s “menù del dia” for a very affordable price of 9€ which includes a first + second dish of your choice + a drink and a desert (or, coffee).

It’s a very authentic place and the people are friendly, attentive and polite. Our waiter Raúl was also very kind and invited us for an aperitif specialty of the house after the lunch we had at La Catedral de la Tapa…!

Totally recommend this place, especially if you’re in the area and want to eat...
