La Sacristía Tapas — Restaurant in Seville

My experience was horrible. The outside of the resturant looks great however the food was bad as well as the service. First of all, there was no clear waitress telling us where we could sit, we had to walk around and ask them if there is space and them telling us to just sit where we want. We didn't get handed our menus we had to go get them ourselves. We ordered Tapas, the waitress didn't even give us any side plates to eat the food. As well as this, the food came out so quickly we were wondering if its even fresh. The food just tasted fine. The waitress was horrific, she basicly threw our food on the table. I don't know if she treated us badly as our Spanish was minimal or if theyre rude to eveyone. We were waiting ages for the bill, about 20 minutes or so, we had asked multiple times to get the bill, the waitress waved us off saying she will get it but went to serve other customers. Discovery of this tapas restaurant. We tried many different tapas dishes and two large dishes. Everything looked pretty fresh (except spinach) and was good but nothing surprised me in terms of taste. The fish donuts where along my favorite. The beef tail is good as well. My previous tapas restaurant was more tasty and more inventive in my view. The service is ok, they ask for your order and serve you. No special care or attention. The menu is in foreign language if you need it. Pay attention to the crowd. As this place is close to the cathedral, there are a lot of people waiting and you need to queue. We did not wait too long though. The table was not stable, you seat not on chair but on stool. Really disappointing experience. The food came out almost immediately after ordering, which made it clear it wasn’t freshly prepared — more like it had been sitting somewhere waiting to be served. I also ordered a mixed cheese and cold cuts board for nearly €20, and it was honestly a joke: just a few slices of old-looking meat and some cheese that was hard and dry on one side, as if it had been left out for too long. The waitress was rude and clearly didn’t want to be there, dropping the plates on the table instead of serving them properly. When we asked for the bill, we had to go down to the bar twice to remind them, and they still ignored us.
