Farina 23 - Pizzería Italiana Sevilla — Restaurant in Seville

This is a really excellent pizza restaurant on the buzzy Alemeda de Hercules. We sat in their outside area which is covered and nice and cool. Unusually for a pizza restaurant they offer four or five different types of pizza styles: Neapolitan, Roman and a couple of others I was unfamiliar with. See their website for a full explanation of how they differ. We had the Neapolitan pizzas which were really excellent. Crisp, very tasty and a good size. We had a nice Greek salad to accompany which made a pleasant change as we have found it hard to get vegetables with main meals even though Spain has such wonderful vegetables and fruit. They seem to think fried potatoes and a bit of char grilled peppers counts as vegetable side...

La pizza, cuando logran hacerla bien, está buena en comparación con otros lugares. Pero el resultado cambia mucho según el pizzero que esté detrás… ¡y no poco! Algo que me hará pensar si volver o no, es que aquí queman las pizzas… ¡y lo hacen conscientemente! La última vez, cuando le comenté a la camarera que mi pizza estaba quemada, ella fue a hablar con el pizzero, quien respondió que “la pizza romana se come así”. O sea, según ellos, ¡en Italia comemos pizzas quemadas! También dejé claro que no quería otra pizza de sustitución, ya que se me había quitado el hambre. Sin embargo, poco después me trajeron una pizza nueva… que tuve que llevarme para no quedar mal (no estaba solo). Con los precios que tienen, me esperaría más cuidado, y se me quitan las ganas de ir a comer pizza quemada, e incluso cancerígena, con la absurda respuesta de que “en Italia la pizza romana es así" 😅 Y me da pena porque, repito, la pizza es buena

La pizza, quando riescono a farla bene, è buona rispetto ad altri posti. Però il risultato cambia molto in base al pizzaiolo dietro… e non di poco! Una cosa che mi farà riflettere se tornare o meno è che qui bruciano le pizze… e lo fanno consapevolmente! L’ultima volta, quando ho fatto notare alla cameriera che la mia pizza era bruciata, lei è andata dal pizzaiolo, il quale ha risposto che “la pizza romana si mangia così”. Quindi, secondo loro, in Italia mangiamo pizze bruciate! Ho anche precisato che non volevo alcuna pizza in sostituzione, visto che mi era passata la fame. Eppure, poco dopo, mi è arrivata una pizza nuova… che ho dovuto portare via per fare la persona educata (non ero solo). Con i prezzi che hanno, mi aspetterei più cura, e mi passa la voglia di andare a mangiare pizza bruciata,e pure cancerogena, con la risposta assurda che “in Italia la pizza romana è così” 😂. We choose this place because we thought it looked lovely from the street unfortunately that’s about all it had going for it. We sat out the front, on the table next to us was a couple of men with a dog, the dog didn’t stop barking, it became so annoying we eventually asked for our bill and left. When we got the bill we had been over charged for one meal and one drink. The manager reluctantly gave us the money back for the meal but would not for the drink even through the waiter tried to explain to her that he hadn’t poured it for us.
