Restaurante Arte y Sabor — Restaurant in Seville

An excellent restaurant for everyone!! Wether you eat vegetarian, vegan, or not, it doesn't matter. We went there as a group of four, two of whom were vegan. Everyone left satisfied! I ordered a burger with the seitan-patty (without egg and cheese), my friend the seitan filet. The french fries and the salad that came with my burger tasted great, as well as the burger itself. Sadly I don't remember the other two meals.... But every portion size was perfect for us. We additionally ordered humus as a starter, which tasted amazing combined with the brought bread and some tasty olives served. As dessert we ordered the vegan rice pudding with coconut milk. DELICIOUSSS!!! The dishes looked artfully and beautifully prepared. Drinks were as in any other restaurant. Apart from a wide variety of juices I noticed nothing special here. 10 / 5

The server was very charming and friendly and spoke excellent English. He was well-informed and could tell us what was vegan/vegetarian and what wasn't. 10 / 5

The interior of the restaurant looked neat. Beautiful paintings hung on the walls, and the tableware was lovely. The temperature was pleasantly cool. The outside section of the restaurant didn't look especially remarkable but not unattractive either. The WC was as well nothing special but the cleanliness was definetely sufficient. The menu was, as far as I know, available in Spanish, English, French and German!! It was easy to read and vegan/vegetarian options were clearly marked. 10 / 5

I really would love to go there more often but unfortunately I'm already leaving tomorrow :(.

Rudest service ever in my life, never got yelled by waiters before. Hopefully it has nothing to do with my Asian face. I was a very chill person in general but it was too much this time. Me and my friends took our orders separately from different waiters, I ordered drink together with them, and my food individually. We made the last order at 7.24, my friends left earlier because they didn’t expect it’ll take them that long to serve a tapas, and I finally had to cancel the order at 8.07. They never brought my plate, one waiter came by and triple checked my order with three different guesses, one waiter gave me the bill of my actual order before bringing any food to me, one waiter yelled at me in public for me canceling a “non existing” order. I’ve never been embarrassed like this before. I still don’t understand why the misunderstanding and communication problems between the employees eventually ended up as customers’ fault. And the last waiter who yelled at me literally complained about me asking for a English menu, asking the juice ingredients and making an order later than my friends. As a place that offers good vegetarian options for some of our group, we dined there several times during the holiday. The food overall was decent quality but quite small portions. The staff were friendly and as tourists we generally felt welcome.

On the final night, two of the group ordered rib-eye steaks which came with about 5 chips and a small pile of vegetables. On the request of a hungry teenager, I asked the waiter if we could have some fries for the table because we knew the portion would not be enough and this would cover the two people with steaks and some extras.

The waiter said they might not have enough for the other customers and said he would check.

The steaks were a decent size, but with very little else on that plate. Unfortunately it was tough with a lot of gristle and fat and they have to leave most of it. We also realised too late that they didn't ask how they wanted it cooked, and it was served very near to medium well. The fries didn't arrive and were never mentioned again.
