Great experience at Yamazaki! It’s right on the Plaza de Encarnación off to the side a little. I first went to the restaurant next to it but they had a line and I was on a time crunch. Went to Yamazaki next door and they sat me right away. I was so happy to eat inside as it gets unbearably hot in the summer. They keep the door closed too keep it cool inside. The place is a bit small but still feels spacious enough that your not bothering a neighboring table at all. The service was a good but I did feel like they had forgotten me a couple times. Took a while to have them take my drink order. But that’s really all I can say that was negative on their service. In general, the staff was kind. I love sushi so I was looking to get that but was disappointed when I realized their menú del día was only for lunch. It was a great deal for €16 you could get an appetizer, a salad or soup, first plate, and second plate. Since I couldn’t have my first choice because I went in the evening, I explained I was in a bit of a hurry and they said the fastest meal would be the yakisoba. I had the yakisoba with prawns. I went ahead and ordered it and it was delicious! Only wish the portion was a little bit more. I definitely recommend! I would go again if my time in Sevilla...

MOST DISRESPECTFUL RESTAURANT EVER!!!!!

FIRST of all, my 5 friends and I went to this restaurant for lunch after class. We politely asked if they can arrange the tables so we can all sit and eat together. The waitress refused. We pulled 2 chairs and sat down on a smaller table. (No problem) then we looked at the menu and we're about to order everything on it because 1) we were super hungry and 2) we wanted to try out all their food. The waitress made us feel so uncomfortable, that we decided to go to another restaurant. Instead of ditching the place, we decided to stay have a drink. And when we told the waitress this, she gave us a rude look and walked away. She came back and told us: "Next time, you guys can't come here if you don't order food." And walked away. After I received my drink, we paid our bill. They stood there and watched me finish my drink and the second I finished my drink, she told us we had to LEAVE the restaurant. Meanwhile her boss stood outside watching all this happen. We went to another restaurant and ordered 130€ worth of food. they lost out on some GOOD business because they judged us on our looks and had the WORST customer experience. Do not go here. Across the street is a better restaurant...

It is almost hidden away in one of the corners of Plaza de la Encarnación, and it is very small.

We saw the restaurant randomly on our was back from the plaza, as we walked by, and we wanted to try it. The restaurant was fully booked the following two nights, so we booked a table, and we were not disappointed.

We ordered the chef’s sushi selection of 26 pieces and the seaweed salade with makarel to go with it.

As starters we had the chicken gyoza and the tempura shrimps. So delicious.

For drinks, we had the Terra Gauda 2024 Riax Baixas white wine that went perfectly well with the sushi.

The sushi selection was wide and so beautiful presented. Almost art, which made the whole experience so much better.

The decor was modern and was inspired by the Setas just outside the window. A really nice view from the table. We choose to sit inside, but we could sit outside as well.

We went there already at 8 PM, and we were the only ones there.

Highly...

Definitely not the most authentic Japanese place but we had our expectations set right, we are in the Mediterranean after all. Was looking for a tiny break from the great tapas we've been having. The food was decent in taste, they could have cooked their noodles more al dente for the ramen and yakisoba, slightly overcooked for our liking. Portions were decent, we shared the menu el día between 2,and it was just right. It's a pretty place but honestly the service is what is lacking here. The male server was great, the female one rubbed us the wrong way. When we asked her for the set menu, she immediately said "No, we don't have one" without even bothering to check first. And we definitely knew that they had one because the table next to us just ordered from it. Not sure if she's new but she wasn't the most pleasant service staff that we have encountered. Not horrible but definitely far from great.

Unfortunately only took 1 photo, because the food was too good and we quickly ate it all!! The vibe was really relaxed and the staff super friendly. They helped us with the menu, and in what order and when we wanted the dishes. Really liked the fried chicken with rice, sashimi and nigiri mixplatter(you can tell the sashimi wasnt fresh, it was defrosted which makes sense because salmon and tuna usually dont swim around Spain), the spicy tuna(photo) and unagi umaraki. The chicken teppanyaki and duck gyoza were also very tasty. Unfortunately the sea bass and other things we wanted, were sold out (maybe because we ate at 9 p.m), but the other food was nice nontheless The staff also served a complimentary limoncello/sake/plum wine shot (whichever you prefer) to end the evening. Overall great experience and would like to go back whenever I'm in Seville.
