Spiga Napoletana — Restaurant in Toledo

Tasty quality Italian food experience in downtown Toledo. The venue offers a rich take on Neapolitan style pizza with nice flavors, tasty dough, and a diverse menu with fun takes on some classics. For instance the fresh burrata with a cherry cream base and basil ice cream is a lot of edible fun. The different pizzas satisfied our whole table. And classic desserts such as the tiramisu were very enjoyable. Staff was affable and professional throughout our visit.

They offer good drinking options to support the meal, probably more so around wines, which is fine. I personally wish that some craft beer options were stronger. Nonetheless, they had suitable Sagra IPA, which felt nice in the context.

With a relatively recent presence - as I understand it has been open for under a year - the venue has passion, quality, and a vision. Looking forward to finding out how they consolidate the restaurant in future...

The first time that I entered, because I was one person. They were so close not to accept me for a meal which was rude already and then I got the meal. It was good. They have vegan pizza. The pizza was okay, but the waiter tried to flirt with me, and I rejected him several times, but he was asking inappropriate questions. These kinds of behaviors are not acceptable. I am sure that he was doing similar behaviors to other alone woman customers, which is super bad 👎 update for the restaurant question , it was 14th of February, i was there in the afternoon. Estuvimos en Toledo en un evento deportivo. Visitando la ciudad, decidimos entrar a este restaurante Italiano. Esta un poco escondido, pero al buscar en Google y ver las buenas reseñas, nos decimos por él. No es muy grande pero tiene bastantes mesas. Las camareras, muy simpáticas, nos sentaron en una mesa de tres personas, pero nos vimos muy encogidos y nos cambiaron sin ningún problema a una mesa de cuatro. En la carta, tienen una extensa variedad de platos, sobre todo pizzas. Tres entrantes, unos pocos platos de pasta, un par de risottos y bastantes pizzas a elegir. Las pizzas son de masa Napoletana, con un borde muy aireado y una masa muy fina y esponjosa. Nos pedimos un par para probar y quedamos muy contentos con ellas. También pedimos un plato de pasta rellena y un risotto, todos ellos muy buenos. Los entrantes, pedimos su fusión de ensalada burrata y una caponata Napoletana. Platos muy contundentes, con buena calidad. El servicio perfecto, muy simpático y agradable. El ambiente es genial. Quedamos contentos con el servicio.
