Beet Vegetariano — Restaurant in Torrevieja

We were looking forward to experiencing Beets Restaurant with our guests. We arrived at the restaurant on time, the lady who "greets" you and I use this term loosely, was on the phone, ok that's understandable her colleague then came over, she didn't acknowledge us and when the lady had finished her phone call she started to discuss something with her waiting colleague, still NO acknowledgment to us, she finally said hello and asked if we wanted the menus in Spanish or English, she then took us to our table which seemed an effort for her. When our server came to take our order I asked if the AC was working as it was extremely hot,she said it had just been switched on.🙄 After we had finished our main courses the waiter came over and asked if we wanted dessert without taking our main meal plates away, we chose not to have dessert and still after sitting there for 10 minutes our plates still hadn't been cleared away.🙄After 10 minutes of sitting there with our dirty plates in front of us I went to find out where our server was, he and the others were around the corner of the restaurant having a good chit chat with each other, I asked if anyone was still serving in our area🙄. I decided enough was enough and asked for the bill. They clearly have a WiFi signal problem because he kept walking away with the card payment terminal to get a signal. 🙄 It's a shame the service is so bad as the food is excellent 👌I wouldn't mind but it wasn't even busy and the table over from us had to go and find someone so they could also pay. Management really need to get a grip on the customer experience, your staff are lacking basic skills in customer service. As I said previously the food is excellent but it's a real shame the front of house staff are not as attentive to detail as the kitchen...

Not far from the seafront is the jewel of a restaurant. OK confession time we have been here before it had this make over. If going, use your map to find it, Torrevieja sides streets, have many attractions.

They cater for vegetarians, and vegans. Not only that they cater for a variety of allergy's, gluten, dairy, and few other's, each dish is labelled.

We were welcomed by very lovely waitress who asked if we spoke Spanish or English. The menu was in Spanish & English, very easy to understand. The choice was just fantastic, something for adult's and a children's menu. We choose from the main menu, it was a tough choice between that and the lunch menu.

Compliment to the staff we had excellent English and were able to understand my attempts at Spanish :-). They were also very attentive when required.

We are just before Spanish lunchtime at 1pm. It filled up with many locals, which we always take as good sign. Plenty of space for everyone.

The food, just fantastic, the quality and presentation was spot on. As it has always been we have been here before. Will we be back? Oh yes without a doubt.

One last thought, GO its worth the effort to find it. Even if you do not do veggie, the quality and flavours are a good reason to seek this out. You should be able to find something...

The restaurant is nicely decorated and also has a lovely outdoor seating area. The staff was super friendly and service was quick. I ordered a pizza, and the toppings were fantastic, they were fresh and there was a lot of them. However the pizza dough wasn't really to my liking, it tasted a bit "healthy" and the texture wasn't really pizza like. Still, the toppings made up for it so it was fine. You could also get vegan versions of all the pizzas (and most other dishes too) which is nice. Food is very affordable, most dishes are around 8-15€ and drinks aren't too expensive either. I would definitely recommend this place for all vegetarians and vegans...
