Restaurante Chinatown — Restaurant in Torrevieja

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!! This is the WORST and most DANGEROUS restaurant I have ever been to. The food was not edible to start with. Not fresh, must have been sitting in a storage container for over 6 months but if that's not bad enough I found a live MAGGOT or WORM in the food. When I confronted the owner of the Chinese restaurant they started to insult me in Spanish not realising that one of my friends sitting with me was Spanish. We discussed our experience with other people we met that week and they also said it was the worst food they have ever tasted and the RUDEST restaurant you are ever going to experience. There are plenty of other nice restaurants in Torrviejca so AVOID this disaster of one, as you might end up in hospital with food poising or even worse!!!! YOU HAVE...

The food is nice, I always order sweet and sour fish. The fish is soft, fresh and freshly battered. The fried rice is also nice but the curry is not the same as the curries served in Chinese take aways in Ireland. We had the hot and sour Peking soup to start followed by two beef curries and egg fried rice. Drinks were two soda waters. The restaurant is very clean but the tables are very close together. The service was very good and efficient. However the food let things down. The soup had that much chilli in it you couldn’t taste anything else. It was just a chilli soup. The fried rice was ok but the beef curry was some the worst we have had. The sauce was bland and the beef was tasteless. As for the price, €41 is very expensive for lack lustre food.
